Sandra Vol Aresse, a pissy French + Japanese lady, got that 'tiger mom' genes from Japanese heritage, she lived Japan when her parents are still together, her mom (Lanette's gramma) is really really really overbearing, controlling and toxic,, wanting Sandra to be an overachiver.

Her mom's pretty selfish (and racist) too because she believed that Japanese culture is way superior than French,, so she pushed alll that influence onto her and like disregard all of Sandra's dad's teaching

End up Sandra's dad cant handle that no more, so they divorced n he won custody over Sandra

Sandra followed her dad back to France— then when she gets older, she migrated to America to pursue a better life and career
