Simons pov
"Simon wake up its time" Amanda said shaking me awake, "time for what?" I grumbled hiding my face in my pillow "for school Simon, the baby is coming idiot" Amanda said getting out of bed, "oh shit" I said jumping out of bed when I realized what was happening, "I'm sorry" I said kissing her forehead before rushing to get the emergency bag we had already packed and quickly putting on shoes and a hoodie, "Do you want me to call the others?" I asked helping her down the stairs while the bag was on my shoulder "call them when we get there" Amanda said holding onto me tightly as a contraction hit, "Okay darling" I said softly.
3 hours later
"Would you like to cut your daughters umbilical cord Mr Cowell?" The doctor asked with a smile "Yes please" I smiled walking over to him and seeing my crying baby, "here" The doctor smiled handing me the scissors before showing me where to cut.
After they cleaned our daughter and Amanda had delivered the placenta they placed her on Amanda's chest, "What are we going to name her?" Amanda asked tearfully looking down at her "how about Alexa, Lexi for short" I smiled touching my daughters back, "that's a beautiful name" Amanda smiled her tears, "would you like to hold her?" Amanda asked, "Yes please" I smiled reaching my arms out, Amanda smiled placing Lexi in my arms telling me how to hold her, "Your the best Father's Day gift ever" I whispered tearfully leaning down to kiss her soft forehead.
16 years later
"Happy Fathers Day daddy" My three beautiful children and wife said waking me up, "thank you" I smiled sitting up in bed "we got this for you" Hollie and Eric said handing me a gift bag, "thanks" I smiled taking the bag off them and putting it next to me so I can pull the two into my arms and give them a kiss, "love you daddy" Both of them giggled kissing my cheeks "I love you too" I chuckled kissing both their cheeks now, "open the present daddy" Lexi smiled sitting next to us "I will, after you give me my hug" I smiled, "sorry" Lexi smiled hugging me tightly and kissing my cheek, "Okay now I can open my present" I smiled when she moved back to her spot, I took the present and opened it laughing when i saw it was a razor, "now you can finally shave that beard of yours" Amanda joked rubbing my bearded cheek, "I like my beard" I said jokingly pouting "it looks nice but it's doesn't feel nice when you are kissing me" Amanda laughed "I see how it is, I'll be sure to you some wax for your birthday" I joked, "Hey!" Amanda laughed hitting my arm, everyone else laughed along. "But here is your really present daddy" Lexi laughed handing me another present "thank you darling" I chuckled taking the present off her, I smiled when I saw a watch that I had mentioned to Amanda last week while reading the newspaper "I didn't think you were listening to me" I smiled looking to Amanda, "that was the point, I didn't want you to figure it out again" Amanda smiled, "now get ready we are taking you to breakfast" Amanda smiled, "Okay" I smiled while everyone except Lexi left, "I love you daddy" Lexi said hugging me tightly, "I love you too Lex" I said hugging her back, "I'm sorry I got mad at you the other day" Lexi whispered "don't worry about it, I did scare away your boyfriend" I said softly, "thank you for that, he was a bit of a douchebag" Lexi giggled, "what are fathers for if not to scare away their douchebag boyfriends?" I joked "I'm not sure about other girls fathers but my father is definitely a hero" Lexi said, "goddamnit you're making me cry again" I smiled tearfully, "Sorry" Lexi laughed, "I'm going to go before you turn me into a crying mess with you" Lexi said getting up from the bed and walking to the door "Lexi, finding out that your mum was pregnant with you was definitely the best Father's Day gift" I said wiping my tears as she walked out, "goddamnit dad now I have to redo my makeup!" I heard Lexi shout from the other side of the door and couldn't help but laugh through my tears.
