Today was you and Ricky's one year anniversary. You were in the elevator on your way up to Ricky's dorm room. You were bringing him some flowers, a present you made, and some home made cupcakes.
The elevator dinged, and the doors opened. You exited the elevator and walked to Ricky's dorm room. You wanted to surprise him, so you pulled out the pair of keys he gave you and unlocked the door.
You opened the door quietly in an attempt to surprise Ricky.
To your horror you saw your boyfriend kissing someone else. Nini.
Your heart was torn into a million pieces, it felt as if your soul had left your body. You were broken, empty. The man you loved with your entire heart was kissing someone else. The man who told you he loved you, was kissing someone else.
Before either Nini or Ricky could see you, you closed the door. Tears streamed down your face as you ran down the stairs to your car, desperate to get out of this building.

You had been crying for the past 3 hours. You were curled up in a ball and were sitting on your bed. You were wearing your favorite hoodie and your y/h/c was tied up in a messy bun. Your face was stained with tears and makeup. Your eyes were puffy and red from crying so hard. Crumpled up tissues lay scattered on your bed and floor.
You had gathered Ricky's belongings into one large garbage bag. He had left so much stuff in your dorm, it took you around an hour.
You heard the sound of keys being inserted into your door, the lock clicked and the door was opened, revealing Ricky.
"Happy one year anniversary baby!" Ricky said, he noticed that you were crying, "What's wrong babe?"
"Don't you babe me," You spat, furious that he had the audacity to show up, "So how long have you and Nini been seeing each other? Or was this the first time you kissed?"
The smile on Ricky's face vanished, "It wasn't like that,"
"Than what was it like?" You scoffed. Ricky had no answer, he just stared at the floor.
"Goodbye Ricky," You said.
"No please, I can't loose you," Ricky cried.
"You lost me when you first kissed Nini. Get the fuck out of my dorm," You stated. Ricky didn't budge.
You stood up, walked over to him and slapped him across the face, "I said, GET THE FUCK OUT!"
Ricky didn't move. You had had enough of his bullshit. You opened the door and pushed him into the hallway.
"I was gonna give you your stuff back, but I need some kindling for my campfire tonight with y/b/f/n."
"Wait-what?" Ricky said.
"Bye Ricky," You slammed the door in his face. You were officially over him. You didn't need a boyfriend who cheated on you, you needed someone who would treat you with respect and actually loved you.
You walked into the bathroom and washed your face, clearing it of all the makeup. No more tears were going to be wasted on Ricky Bowen.
