It had been a busy week for everyone.
Patton had insisted that they should all look out for one another. Everyone instantly realised he was talking about Deceit. So they stayed within a close distance to him. Whenever Deceit woke up from a nap, he would never wale up alone. The Sides all took turns in watching him sleep. However, one always stayed the same. Remus.Remus was a difficult one to work out. He always seemed to know exactly what he needed, when he needed it. At first it was creepy. The thought of someone knowing when you get up of the sofa to go to the loo. Deceit would shiver at the thought. After time he grew used to it. And it wasn't that bad.
Currently, Deceit has gotten up from his position on the sofa to grab an apple from the fridge. Because he was sat down for ages without moving, his legs buckled beneath him. He landed with a thump. "Damn it!" He hissed. Not even one minute had passed and Remus, Virgil and Roman where already by his side. "Are you in need of a prince?" Roman asked, placing Deceit into a sitting position.
"No, no. I'm fine. I just kinda fell of the sofa." Deceit replied, sheepishly rubbing the back of his head. "As long as you are okay." Virgil said, helping him to his feet. "Why did you even try to get off the sofa Dee?" Remus butted in. He just sighed, "I went to get an apple out of the fridge." Roman chuckled lightly, "We could have gotten it for you. We don't want you to push yourself."
Deceit cringed. And it didn't go unnoticed. "Are you sure you're okay Deceit. We can call Logan or something-" "NO!" Deceit snapped. "I can do simple tasks. And before you say 'we are just looking out for you' save it. If I keep getting all this attention I might just crack!" He finished with a huff and walked into the kitchen.
"No, that's not what we were going to say Dee." Remus walked up next to him, standing in front of the fridge door so Deceit couldn't get his apple out. "Guess I won't be eating now." Deceit turned away and walked into Logan. "Oh sorry. I-I didn't see you there." Deceit went to turn around again, but this time Patton was there. "Hey kiddo, how have you been doing recently?"

[LINE BREAK]
Deceit was now crouching down on the floor. Trying to breathe. Logan was the closest, kneeling down to calm Deceit down. Virgil had also rushed over. "Not again Dee, BREATH GOD DAMN IT!!!" He was shaking, looking Virgil straight in the eyes. Deceit did the only thing he could. He sank out. Into his room and locked the door.
He stumbled over to his bed and ran his hand through his hair. He curled up in a ball, on the floor, next to his bed. Deceit knew he was safe here. What he didn't anticipate was Remus. Breaking down the door. With a chainsaw??? How did he even get that. The world was becoming blurry as tears filled his eyes.
Remus picked Deceit up bridal style. Letting his head rest in the crook of his neck. The tears were now flowing freely, as his quiet murmur became a loud sob. "Shhhh, it's going to be okay Dee." Remus said in a soft voice. "Too many people?" Remus asked. He nodded, clutching onto his shirt. "I promise to look after you Dee." Remus said, smiling. Deceit smiled too, his breathing levelling out. The other sides were silently watching from the door. All with a sad smile placed on their lips, with streaks of tears stained permanently to their faces. Listening to Remus's soothing words...
