Waking up was always the worst after falling asleep. You have to force your sleep deprived eyes open, squinting at the blinding light people call the sun. Moving away from your comfy, warm bed, just to pretend like you had a good sleep. That was always the worst. Pretending. Deceit was familiar with the word. Words like: pretending, acting, lying and faking were words he associated with.Sleeping was horrible as well. It's a wide, vast space filled with nothing but; flashbacks, memories, nightmares and darkness. Some people could even become mad. Stuck in their own mind for an eternity. Deceit used to shudder at the thought. But throughout his years he learned to HATE HIMSELF so much that the madness couldn't get to him.
His mind would tell him that he 'didn't deserve to live' or 'he was wasting the oxygen' But as usual. He grew used to it. Sometimes his mind would wander, so when people talked to him his brain would completely shut down, leaving him vulnerable. Sometimes when Deceit was asleep his mind would work as if it were in third person (😉). It would always annoy him.

Deceit opened his eyes, and to his surprise he was in Remus's lap. He had his yellow blanket wrapped around them both. Deceit didn't want to move, as he didn't want to wake him up. He sighed. "What did I do to deserve a friend like you." Deceit said curling up to Remus. Deceit smiled, and so did Remus.[LINE BREAK]
Virgil was sat in the stairs. In his usual place when Thomas wanted to talk with them all. Ever since there problem with Deceit they completely forgot about Thomas (well, everyone apart from Logan) so they decided to talk about it.
"Well it's solved then. Thomas should tell him how he feels." Roman said. "I agree. When bottling up your 'emotions' for to long they can be forgotten or cause the host harm." Logan said. Thomas smiled. "Well, I'll be off then. I promised to meet him at 8:00pm." He grabbed his coat and left.
"Well I think that went pretty well didn't it?" Patton asked, bouncing over to his dark, strange son. "Yeah." His one word answer caused Logan to say, "Has Deceit been on your mind recently?" Virgil looked up at him, "Yes, Remus said he'd call if anything happened. It's been over two hours so I guess he is fine." He moved from the stairs to the hallway. "I'm going to go check on them. If not for him then for me. I am anxiety for a reason." And with a laugh he entered the Dark Side's area.
Upon arriving at Deceit's room he noticed how the door was left ever so slightly open. He stepped inside to see Remus asleep on the bed with Deceit on the floor. "He wanted the bed." Virgil snapped his head towards Deceit who was smiling on the floor. "How have you been. And please, be honest with me." Virgil said, sitting next to him. Deceit closed his eyes and sighed.
"I've been better. But I've also been worse." He looked at the ceiling and Virgil was about to say something, but Deceit continued, "I still hate myself." A sad smile played on his lips, as he drew his knees into his chest. Placing his chin on top of them. "Thank you." Virgil said, confusing Deceit. "Umm... your welcome." He replied lifting his head up meeting Virgil's purple galaxy orbs of beauty. He blushed.
"No, seriously. Thank you for being honest with me." Virgil said. "Ever since all of 'this' happened I've been really stressed lately. I'm just glad that your telling the truth." Virgil smiled. Deceit looked over at Remus. He was still sound asleep. But he could have sworn he saw an eyelid flutter. Looking back at Virgil he asked, "Would you like to spend the night with me and Remus?" Virgil giggled.
"Of course I will."
