We are getting ready for the concert that'll take place tonight. Everybody is very excited and I can't complain since I have the best support ever in this concert. Even though I'm thrilled that Zhenya is here with me and she's enjoying herself with the members, I told her to get back home as soon as possible, after all, she needs to take care of her company. Of course, she argued with that and told me she wanted to stay longer until everything calms down. But honestly, it's been just a couple of days since Minghao and Vernon broke up, and I'm glad to say that Hao looks much better than other times.
We've hanged out more often with Mingyu and Dino, we rehearse constantly together and everything seems to be back at how it was. I haven't asked him about Vernon though, I think it's a topic he doesn't want to talk about at the moment and I'm sure he's hurt by being away from him. Because it doesn't matter if Vernon says Minghao faked the love he had for him, since it only takes a few moments to understand how much he means to Minghao. He wanted to say his name a few times but he couldn't do at all; one time we were just talking and wanted to share something great that happened with Vernon, but he didn't do so since he felt gloomy about the situation.
Right now, I'm with Joshua while I can see Minghao talking with Zhenya from here. He's looking happy with her which makes me calm down and believe that everything will fly away at some point.
-The restless kid isn't saying a word today – Jeonghan spoke while looking at me.
-He's concerned, leave him – Joshua elbowed his side before placing his hand on my shoulder.
I looked back at him and smiled slightly, then Jeonghan got behind me and started to back hug me.
-Come on! The concert is today; cheer up! – Jeonghan said happily.
-Yes, he's right. Carats and Zhen will be watching – Joshua winked.
I smiled before tickling Jeonghan, he immediately started to move like a worm and run away from me. He stood behind Joshua as both started to laugh.
-Rude – Jeonghan complained cutely.
I chuckled. –I'm fine~ don't worry about me – I assured.
-Jun, we know how much Minghao means to you but you don't have to suffer for him – Joshua disclosed.
-I know. I just wish I've never said those things out loud; they were meant to be kept as secrets – I sighed before smiling at them.
-Oh, boy... there are a lot of things that we regret but we have to see the bright side and keep on going – Jeonghan spoke. –It all happens for a reason – He told.
-Yes, I guess you are right – I said.
-Looks like your crew is coming – Joshua said while looking at Minghao and Zhenya coming towards us.
-We'll be going, we need to check out things with the vocal team – Jeonghan patted my head.
-Okay, good luck – I said before they said goodbye, and briefly, Minghao and Zhenya were there with me.
-Hello – Zhenya smiled before kissing my lips gently.
-Yuck – Minghao teased.
-Yah! – I complained as I tried to kick Minghao playfully, he dodged the move quickly so my foot didn't reach him. He laughed instead.
-Okay, little kids – Zhenya chuckled while holding me against her. –Are you nervous? – She asked.
-Excited more than anything – I assured.
-Yes! Did I tell you that Jun and I are going to do our stage together? – Minghao said happily.
-No, you didn't! It sounds great though – Zhenya praised.
-Thank you, flower. I'll do my best – I looked at her.
-I know you will and I'm looking to see you both on stage again – She cheered.
-It's going to be great – Minghao said excitedly. –Do you think Carats will enjoy it? – He asked.
-Of course! Our moves are the best – I hand fived him while chuckling softly.
-Minghao! – Hoshi called him.
-Oh, time to go! See you around, Zhen – He kissed her cheek before cluttering my hair, then he went with Hoshi.
-He looks happier. What did you do? – Zhenya asked curiously.
-I showed him my friendship – I told.
-Wow, how smart mister – Zhenya teased before kissing my lips again, then she sat on my lap while caressing my hair.
-Baby, I wanted to ask you something about your work – I told you.
-Hmm, everything is fine if that's what you wonder – Zhenya assured.
-Are you sure you want to stay longer? – I asked concerned.
She nodded. –A week and then I promise I'll return; don't push me away so soon – Zhenya pouted which made me chuckle.
-Never – I kissed her lips gently but it was a matter of seconds for me to get lost on her touch.
-Hey! You two! – Mingyu shouted.
Both of us got away from one another before looking at Mingyu facing our way.
-You always ruin everything – Zhenya complained.
-I don't, little sister – Mingyu imitated Zhen, which made me laugh slightly. She hit my side before he continued. –We have to practice the ending performance, so get ready Jun – Mingyu told.
-Of course – I grinned before pecking Zhen's lips, then I got up and followed Mingyu.
-Work hard! – Zhenya told.
-Always! – We said before joining the rest of the members.
*Nighttime*
The lights are on us as we are dancing along with the music. Thousands and thousands of Carats showed up, I could see Zhenya looking at me happily and cheering everybody with outstanding energy. Briefly, the song stopped and so as we, then the lights turned off and the special stage started to be set up for Minghao and me.
We got to our places before putting the coloured shirts above our turtle neck sweater, then we stood there on our respective locations before the song started to sound and the crow began to shout again. Minghao began singing as I followed the choreography along with him. I got towards him and started to do the parts of the choreography together; relying on one another as the crowd was getting over the top as they saw us getting touchy with each other.
I started to sing while Minghao was smiling happily, then he got towards me and started to play around on the stage, I followed him along and both started to make a mess, then we decided to keep on going with the choreography. And as both were singing, I was relieved that he was back to be who he once were. My best friend.
