Never had Raihan imagined this would be how his new rivalry with the newest champion would end up. But god he sure was glad fate had decided that this would be what happened to him.

He was hovering over Y/N, Galar's recent champion, as she laid spread out on her bed at the hotel she was staying at. It felt so good to have her laying there like that, gasping for breath like a magikarp out of water.

"Raihan-" she gasped, breathless.

"Yes?" he asked, looking at her before leaning down to bite her neck again. She whimpered.

"Raihan, please-!"

"Please what?"

Before Y/N could tell him what she wanted, Raihan was awoken by a pillow hitting him hard on the back. He groaned and opened an eye, just in time to see the pillow swinging at him again. He blocked it with his arm and grabbed it quick. He swung it at whoever was hitting him as revenge, but the pillow was only met with open air.

"C'mon, 'Dragon Tamer,'" Y/N said teasingly. "Gym Challengers are going to be lined up out into the wild area if you don't get ready and out there soon."

"What are you doing in Hammerlocke?" Raihan growled.

Y/N shrugged and hummed. "Got bored. The next Championship matches aren't for, like, another week, so I decided to come out here to personally annoy you."

Raihan groaned. "I wouldn't doubt it," he muttered under his breath.

He rolled onto his back and sat up to stretch, leaving the blankets to fall off of his bare chest. He looked over at Y/N, seeing the champion looking at his toned chest.

"What're you looking at there, champ?" he asked teasingly, smirking. "You're staring more than your Garchomp stares at shiny things."

Y/N seemed to realise what she was doing and turned away, scoffing. "You wish," was the only retort she could come up with. She left the room, and Raihan snorted.

That was some strange dream, he thought. He could barely remember any of it, other than the fact that it was strange, and that he liked it.

"Duraludon, use Breaking Swipe!"

"Garchomp, dodge and use Dragon Rush!"

Raihan's Duraludon swiped at Y/N's Garchomp, but the champion's Garchomp was faster and managed to move out of the way just in time. The Dragon-Ground type pokemon used Dragon Rush, taking Raihan's Duraludon down to half HP.

Raihan's Duraludon was pushed back until it was at Raihan's side. Raihan muttered a few swears under his breath before pulling out his pokeball.

"Duraludon, Gigantimax!" he yelled. His Duraludon was sucked back into it's pokeball, and the pokeball grew in size. He snapped a quick selfie like he always did before throwing his Gigantimaxed pokemon into battle. "Use G-Max Depletion!"

"Garchomp, Draco Meteor!" Y/N called.

Garchomp roared and meteors came raining through the open roof on the stadium, all focused on Raihan's Duraludon. Duraludon hung on with only a little bit of health, and used G-Max Depletion on Garchomp, lowering his Draco Meteor's PP by 2.

"Quick Garchomp, use dig!"

Y/N's Garchomp burrowed into the ground, tunneling through the dirt that made up the stadium's floor.

"Duraludon! Stomp on the ground to make Garchomp dizzy!" Raihan yelled.

With a roar, Raihan's Gigantimaxed Duraludon lifted a foot up.

"Now, Garchomp!" Y/N shouted, encouraging her pokemon to attack.

The Garchomp burst through the ground, hitting the Duraludon's foot and knocking it off balance. It was about to hit the stadium's wall, but it shrunk down before it could, leaving the stadium intact.

Raihan sighed, begrudgingly accepting his defeat. He walked over to Y/N.

"You put up a good fight," Y/N said, looking smug like she always would after winning their pokemon fights. God he hated that look.

"Wipe that smug grin off your face," he said, hugging with an eyeroll. He looked away.

"Make me."

He was taken aback by those words. She had never said them to him before.

"What?" he asked, his face heating up.

"You heard me," she said, still smiling. "If you want the smug grin off my face, you're gonna have to come over here and wipe it off yourself."

It was a challenge.

She knew he wouldn't do it.

"I'll take your silence as a no," she said, looking even more smug as she turned around. She pushed her hair over her shoulder and began walking away.

God he hated that grin.

The stupid, smug, sexy grin.

He shook off the feelings of shock he felt and ran to catch up to her as she began to exit the stadium. When she turned around, she still looked cocky, but that cockiness turned to surprise when he grabbed her and kissed her.

She basically melted in his arms, but he caught her.

"How long have you been wanting this?" He asked in a whisper when they finally pulled apart.

"Who says I ever didn't want this?" she replied breathlessly.

Her reply only seemed to make him want her more. He pushed her up against the wall of the entrance tunnel, continuing to kiss her. He never realised how much he wanted this until now. But now that he knew he wanted it, and now that he knew she wanted it, he had so many ideas on what to do to her.

He reached behind her, grabbing her hair and pulling on it to expose her neck. She gasped, but it turned into a quiet moan. He bit her neck, coaxing a louder moan out of her.

He heard footsteps approaching and moved away from her. "We can finish this tonight," he said. Y/N nodded, looking a little dazed, but quickly snapped out of it and went to leave the arena.

She passed by one of the Gym's helpers as she left. "Mr. Raihan, you have another Gym Challenger ready to challenge you," he said.

Raihan shrugged. "Okay, I'll go get ready to see them," he said. He looked past the man, catching one last glimpse of Y/N before she left his sight.

God he couldn't wait for tonight.
