Ember returned with a bunch of salmon, giving some to me, and then he started telling me the story.
Ember was walking with a female nightwing animus named Shifting Shadow when they came across an icewing egg near the ice kingdom border.
"Moons, did their parents abandon it?" SS asked.
"Possibly." Ember said.
"What should we do with the poor little thing?" SS asked.
"I got an idea." Ember said.
"What is that idea Ember?" SS asked.
"Well maybe we can have it enchanted to be related to Glacier and Blaze and raise the dragonet ourselves?" Ember asked.
"Maybe..." SS said.
"Can we?" Ember asked.
"Ok, I enchant this egg to be related to princess Blaze and Queen Glacier." SS said.
The egg changed to being half sandwing as the two took off, suddenly SS screamed as her wing gave out, she crashed to the ground.
"SHIFTING SHADOW?!" Ember screamed.
He flew down and started feeling her, his eyes widening when he finds out that her neck is broken.
"No... Shi Sha..." he said.
He sat down, starting to cry.
"No... no why..." he whimpered.
Back to the present.
"And that is what happened." Ember said.
"Poor Shifting Shadow." I said.
"I know... I wish she was still here, alive, you wouldve loved her..." Ember said.
He rubbed my head and I looked up at him.
