My ears shot up as I could've sworn that I heard something.

"Is something wrong princess?" North asked.

"I think I hear something." I said.

"We should hide! It's most likely Darkstalker and the group of nightwings he basically has under his control." Ember said.

Ember landed down with North behind him, still holding me in her arms.

"Are we gonna make it out of this? I am so scared, I do not wanna die." I said.

"Yes, you will be ok, we will defend you if it comes down to it." Ember said.

"Yes, with our lives." North said.

"But I don't want to see you two die." I whine.

Ember and North looked at each other and sighed, North set me down behind the rock as Darkstalker and a group of Nightwings, even two seawings, which strangely one was holding a stick, landed nearby.

I kept quiet, but as my body trembled, I thought that someone would hear my movements, but luckily none of the nightwings, nor the seawings, had noticed us, I was kinda confused because one of the seawings was hiding, maybe he wasn't under Darkstalker's control?

Even with that thought, I was not going to reveal myself to him, not at all, I just stayed still behind the rock as the moon rose above the sky and it became nighttime. I was starting to get tired, so my eyes started to shut on their own.
