"Glacier is accepting you two as her final guests, ever, I'm sad that we are losing our queen, but I guess Snowfall will be able to be the new queen." An icewing guard said.
The two guards let me and Ember in, I kept my wings folded to my side and stared at my barb, which instead of secreting venom, it kind of freezed whatever it scratched.
"Ah, who is there?" Glacier asked.
"I brought the dragonet who is related to you and Blaze, Queen Glacier." Ember said.
"Ah... come... up onto the bed Iceblaze." Glacier said.
I climbed onto the bed and Glacier pulled me up, holding me to her chest.
"Im... glad that I got to meet you before I died." Glacier said.
I started to cry, I didnt want to lose her so soon, and yet I was, why was I crying over a mother I never knew in person?
"I'm so happy I got to meet you too." I said.
My mother ran her paw down my neck, whispering a song into my ear with a smile.
"M-mom?" I stutter.
"Yes?" Glacier asked.
"How long do you have? I want to... spend as long as I can with you." I said.
"I'm sorry... i... cant last any longer..." Glacier said.
"What?!" I cried.
"Hey guard... can you protect my... little one?" Glacier asked.
A female icewing nodded and walked over, brushing her wing together with mine. I watched my mother's eyes close. I... I hope... meeting my other mother... does not end like this.
