Lets Get Together And Be Alright

Colton's POV

"Everyone please take you seats. Now I understand that my behavior at last nights banquet was far from acceptable and to Blake I give my apologies," Looking towards Blake he just nodded with a blank expression. I was holding a pack meeting to explain all the previous occurrences that yesterday held and I was also about to recieve my Alpha title because I hadn't last night.

"As many of you know I have found my mate," smiles and applause filled the room, "She truley is the most amazing girl in the world. Her name is Grace and she is an omega of our pack. Beta Blake and many of you have treated her horribly, bullying and abuse is not going to be permitted to anyone I this pack, no matter the ranking am I clear?" I began to feel my wolf and I get angry again but I had to pull myself together so I didn't repeat what happend last night. "Grace is now your Luna and you all must treat her with the same respect you have for me, as for the rest of the omegas your titles have now been lifted. There shall be no more mistreatment in our pack, we are all wolves and together we are a family. I am ashamed to know some of my pack has abused family, Blake your Beta title is being revoked until I truley see a change in your behavior, until then my father will act as beta and today I am proudly receiving my Alpha title."

Looking around the room everyone was in shock. It wasn't really good or bad shock it was just everyone trying to take all the new information in. I looked towards where all the previous omegas were sitting and they all looked very happy, Channing and Louis, who Grace informed me were mates were hugging and Teddy, Grace's brother held tears in his eyes. It felt good to know I was starting off as a good Alpha. When I looked at Grace, she was smiling so brightly at me with pride I her eyes and it made me feel invincible, I smiled back at her and she blushed and tried to hide her face but all I wanted to do was make her look at me and kiss both her rosey red cheeks and hold her in my arms forever.

My father stood up and performed the transfer ceremony where I recieve his Alpha title, immediately after I felt a new sense of power coursing through my veins, I had felt powerful before but this was a whole new level. It was like I was filled with some type of energy and I could do anything.

Grace's POV

When Alpha Johnothan transferred his powers to Colton he immediately felt different to me. There was this new sense of confidence and power to him that you could just feel, he was practically glowing. I'm not gonna lie it was pretty sexy.

When Colton announced that I was his mate I froze up, I was filled with anxiety and I just searched for the exit but I was surprised when after everyone soaked up all the information that I received smiles from several pack members, I thought everything was gonna end up in flames and here are people who previously tormented me giving me kind smiles and waves, it actually felt really good. And the way Colton spoke so sweetly about me gave me the chills, when I learned he was my mate I believed he didn't want me but the way he looked at me showed so much passion and admiration that it blew my mind.

Everything's going up, we're actually going to be okay, I really believe it now.

"It feels kind of strange not being the omega now, we used to have so much to do and honestly I'm kind of just bored," I said to the group while we played Apples to Apples in the attic on our perfect board game table.

"I know right?! It's like I love the new amount of freedom and have and people have actually gotten a lot kinder now but I feel so lazy and like I should be doing work all the time now but I don't really have anything to get done," Channing said.

"Well we could always make things up to do," Louis smirked at him.

"Ew guys! Keep it PG we don't wanna hear that!" Amanda squirmed, covering her ears. We all laughed at her response though.

"You're just mad that you don't have a mate that you can do those things with Amanda," Chan said, winking.

"Am not! I just don't enjoy dirty minds," she stuck her tounge out at Lou and Chan and they just chuckled.

All of a sudden we heard the door creep open and Colton stuck his head in, once he saw me his face lit up in the cutest smile. " I knew I'd find you in here!" he said cheekily, honestly it was quite adorable.

"Oh um yeah hey," I said awkwardly. Really Grace?! Way to sound lame! I mentally face palmed myself. I could hear everyone in the back ground giggle and chuckle stupidly, I turned around and gave them the shut-up-or-I'll-kill-you-in-your-sleep look.

"Can I talk to you for a sec?"

"Um yeah sure," I said, getting up from Tom bean bag chair. We went out of the attic and stood in the empty hall.

"So how do you feel about everyone knowing your Luna now?" He asked nervously.

"Uh well it's kinda scary but everyone's being pretty nice now so I guess it's okay, it's gonna take some getting used to though," I said pretty awkwardly.

"Oh well that's good... but now that everyone knows that you're the Luna um.. well do you think maybe we should go on a date tonight? I mean only if you want to... we don't have to, we could wait a while. Well hopefully not to much waiting but still, maybe like Tommorow or next week if you're not busy-"

"I would love to go out with you tonight, Colton," I chuckled, cutting him off from his nervous but adorable rambling. He scratched the back of his neck looking slightly embarrassed and blushed, awww he's so cute! I couldn't hold back my huge smile and he returned the gesture. Oh my gosh, I hate a date tonight!
