(Tanner's P.O.V)

"NO! TURN RIGHT IDIOT!" Layla yelled making me flinch.

For thirty minutes she has been yelling the directions at me. I tried to make conversation but she kept ranting about how much of a jerk I was for not letting Ty come with her.

I just wanted to get to know her a little. But my endless flirting didn't help anything. I usually didn't flirt so much, but with her I had the urge to get under her skin.

I rolled my eyes and groaned.

"If you stopped yelling maybe I would make the right turns!" I shouted over her yelling.

She immediately stopped talking and crossed her arms. I glanced at her tiny frame. She had her arms crossed over her chest making her boobs pop out a little.

I sound like a perv.

"Pay attention to the road!" She exasperated, gesturing to the road in front of us.

Just to freak her out, I swerved the wheel, making us quickly jerk to the opposite side of the road.

I laughed as she screamed in terror and grabbed the wheel.

I took hold of the wheel again as she punched me on the forearm.

"Why did you do that?" She yelled once again. I chuckled.

"Just to show you not to tell me what to do."

She huffed and looked out of the window.

"Why did you offer to take me anyways?" She said, getting a little more serious than before. I sighed, not really wanting her to know the truth.

"Because Ty needs a little more training and other than him, I'm the closest to you." I focused on the road.

"I'm close to Nick ya know." She said matter-of-factly and laughed bitterly.

"But Nick was training Ty." I said matching her tone.

I knew she didn't believe my excuse. I wasn't exactly the best liar.

"What's the real reason Tanner? " she said peering up at me.

This was the first time she actually said my name without adding "Alpha " with a mocking manner or saying it in disgust.

"I wanted to hang out and get to know you since we're gonna have to live together for a while."

There was a tense silence. It made my heart sink at her lack if words.

My wolf was howling, wishing for me to grab her and hold her tight to me.

An almost inaudible sigh escaped Layla's lips breaking the ear splitting silence.

"I guess that's a good enough excuse." She smirked looking at me. Damn, that smirk.

"I know." I joked trying to flip my hair, winking and blowing her a kiss.

She scoffed and hit my forearm once again.

"Take a left man!" She said leaning back in her seat with the same smirk etched on her perfect lips.

Pulling up at the party☆

"You look fine now get out of the car!" I mumbled opening the car door.

She looked more nervous than I was, and she actually knew these people.

After fifteen more minutes of driving we finally made it to this "frat house". It was just like how college parties were televised.
