The last week of January and the beginning of February hurried in busily for Mr. Ulvaeus who was, of course once again, flying between the UK and Sweden. He pushed back his departure as far as he could, until he knew he was due to be there. In London, Björn had participated in a TV special and had been involved in a children's program. It brought him much joy in the simplicity of it all. He spoke of his views on why it is important for young children to learn music and be encouraged to learn more in the arts. He paid visits to The Party, and the cast was thrilled to see him again.
Throughout the weeks that the couple had spent together, they grew co-dependent on one another's love. It was a special relationship that evolved into something great, and it became
much more solidified than it was before because they no longer hid their love from their children and family. It was a feeling that this is how it should have been from the beginning, and feeling that way couldn't have been more perfect for them. They finally began to adapt into the life they had always wanted. It did not take a long time for the couple to exchange keys to their homes. Agnetha had still had the spare to Björn's apartment and she also had given him a key of his own for the house. They had not planned on it, but it seems somehow both found it comfortable to either stay in Ekerö, mainly, and on some occasions when Björn needed to go home for his things, she went there with him too. They grew into a natural habit of sharing everything, whether it be the home or the car or the closest and bathrooms. It was without a doubt inevitable they'd now find traces of one another left behind somewhere completely unexpected.
Björn arrived by nearly 1 am from the airport to the front door of the family home in the chilly night. He couldn't wait to be inside from the cold, and hoped he wouldn't be disturbing anyone, if they were asleep at all. As far as he knew, Agnetha was waiting up on him but after he had landed there were no answers to any of his messages. He assumed that she was already asleep.
"Hey," he whispered as he walked into the house and closed the door behind him. Tilda who was consumed by her phone in the house that was no longer lit, put a hand to her heart and sighed large.
"Oh my God, you scared me... hi," she laughed and greeted him.
"Hi, sweetheart."
"How was the trip?"
"Nothing new at all," he chuckled. "How's it been here?"
"Nothing new at all," she repeated.
"They're all sleeping I take it?" She nodded with a simple response.
"So is grandma," Tilda said as they both walked further into the house.
"That is not so surprising now, is it?" he laughed back at his granddaughter. Björn felt exhausted and there was only one thing he could think of. He couldn't wait to be in bed, and he couldn't wait to see her.
He crept into the quiet room, conscious Agnetha was completely asleep and did his best to not wake her. He made his way to wear his pajamas then slid beneath the covers. The bed was kept warm as he got nearer to her. Björn's arm took a familiar place around her waist and at last it felt like home. She didn't wake, but casually stirred until she was nuzzled back against him comfortably as if he hadn't been away and it was any normal night. A smile struck across his face because it felt completely natural.
Agnetha tiredly fluttered her eyes awake two hours later. She feared she missed everything and that she no longer had the memory of when Björn got home, but Agnetha understood she passed out much earlier than she wanted. She was now under a tight lock, and just behind her ear she heard what was Björn's snoring. Glancing over her shoulder, suddenly it pitched higher. For a brief moment she smiled happily because he had come home to her, and it was a surprise to see him even though she was already expecting him. She couldn't get over the thought that now he was hers after all these years. It didn't matter how many times she would wake up to him. The feeling would always remain and Agnetha did not know if it would ever get old. She adored all of it. All of him completely, but then there were the snores.
