Chapter 1

It was a beautiful day in Arcadia Bay when Kara Meermans started her first day at Blackwell Academy. Arcadia Bay seemed so beautiful until the day a tornado nearly destroyed the whole town. Kara has the power to rewind time but will she make the ultimate sacrifice to save the town she loves?...

2 WEEKS BEFORE THE TORNADO

Kara's POV

Today was my first day at Blackwell. As I was leaving my last class of the day, I ran into someone making all of their books fall in the floor.

"I am so sorry!" I say embarrassed, helping him pick up his books.

"It's okay. This was actually the most exciting part of my day."

"Seriously?!" I say laughing.

"Yeah I ran into a pretty girl and dropped my books on the floor. I haven't had this much excitement since lunch yesterday."

"What did you do?"

"I ran into Victoria Chase and spilled Spaghetti all over her sweater. It was awesome! My name is Warren and you must be the new girl."

"That sounds awesome! My name is Kara and I can tell we are going to best friends."

"Really? How do you know?"

"Victoria is an ass and anyone who pisses her off is a friend of mine." I say with a proud smile.

My smile quickly faded as I saw an angry Victoria walk towards us. Warren walked away, leaving me alone with her.

"What do you want Victoria?"

"You tell that loser to stay away from me. He ruined my sweater!"

"Tell him your damn self I'm not a mailbox!"

"You little-" 

"Just shut up Victoria." I say walking away.

I go to my room and lay down on my bed, thinking about the beautiful town of Arcadia Bay. I had no idea that in 2 weeks I would have to make the biggest decision of my life....
