Chapter 5

Kara's POV

I didn't think dreams could haunt you but Now I realize dreams can be a real pain in the ass! It's been a few days since I told Kate about my rewind powers. I have been ignoring Warren for a while now and I can tell he's starting to get mad but I'm no closer to figuring out these dreams than I was yesterday. I decided to try to use my powers today so I grab a can of soda out of my mini fridge and set it on the table. I punch the can, making it spill all over the floor. I hold my hand out and focus on the exact moment I set the can on the table. Wow I can't believe it worked! Just like magic.. the can was back on the table and no mess on my floor.
I was happy that I successfully used my powers so I sent a text to Kate telling her to come to my room.
A few minutes later, Kate walked in and laughed at the stupid happy dance I was doing.

"I have something awesome to show you!" I say excited.

I show her the soda can trick I just did and she looked impressed.

"Wow that's awesome! Now I know who to come to when I spill my drinks on the floor." She said, laughing.

"Haha very funny."

The rest of the day was boring. Victoria was being her usual mean self and the teachers seem to get more boring each day. Warren continued to try to get my attention but I just pretended he wasn't even there. I guess he got frustrated after a while of being ignored.. because he stopped trying to talk to me for the rest of the day. That night I didn't get any calls from Warren which was weird because he usually tries to call 3 or 4 times a night. I have a weird feeling that he hasn't given up on me yet though...
