❝ It can creep up inside you
And consume you
A disease of the mind
It can control you... ❞

How long had it been? A few hours? A few days? Weeks? Time was just another thing to add to the already very long list of things Sara didn't understand at the moment.
Sara couldn't even recall the last thing that happened before she blacked out. She sort of remembers meeting with Chris? Letting the anger get the best of her and then suddenly, she was in the clean, white, yet creepy hospital room.
Sara started stirring awake, slowly opening her eyes to only close them quickly when the blaring white light hurt her sensitive eyes at the moment. She took slow breaths, looking a little worse for wear as she still looked completely out of it. Though, to be fair, the doctors had Sara on a couple of different things to help her sleep. That's why Sara felt tired still, exhausted even, as it dawned on her and fear started filling her.
She fell asleep.
"No--..No, no, no...No." Sara started panicking, looking all around her as she tried getting up. She tried ripping the IV out of her arm in a panic when she felt a pair of hands trying to keep her from getting up.
"Woah. Woah, calm down. It's okay, it's okay..." Scott said, whispering to Sara in the hopes that he won't spook her anymore than she already is.
"Scott--....what's happening? Where am I? What's going on?" Sara let out a sharp breath, attempting to pull him in for a hug, which she desperately needed, when she suddenly noticed one of her arms was strapped down to the hospital bed.
"Sorry. They put that on to keep you from hurting yourself. It's just a safety precaution my mom says..they'll take it off once they know for sure you're not going to hurt yourself or others." Scott said shyly before hugging her as she wrapped her free arm around him.
Sara nodded her head, looking at Scott. "Wh-what happened? Where's Stiles? Is he--...is he okay? Did you find him?" Sara asked, her voice breaking as it was hoarse. It hurt to talk as she felt weak. Of course, it has been days since she's been asleep in the hospital so it's only natural she'd feel weak after trying to speak for the first time in days.
"You don't remember anything?" Scott asked Sara, watching as she slowly shook her head no.
"Stiles is in another room with his dad, resting. He had to physically make Stiles go back to his own room to rest. Derek, Lydia, Allison, Isaac...you know, the others..They came by, stayed a bit but I offered to stay here with you. Watch over you and make sure you're safe." Scott explained, offering Sara a soft smile.
"What time is it? H-how long was I asleep for?" Sara asked.
Scott looked a bit uncomfortable at first, avoiding eye contact with Sara. Sara looked confused, wheezing as she tried talking more but it hurt. Scott motioned for her to lay down, whispering for her to not talk so much so she could reserve her strength.
"You've been asleep for little over three days. You've really been in and out of it." Scott answered Sara's question. Scott grabbed Sara's hand in his own, a look of concern on his face as he cleared his throat. "They kept giving you something to help with the pain and for you to sleep and recover. Just a few hours ago the doctors slowly leaned you off of most of it. My mom said all the drugs are almost out of your system and you'll be as good as new. Well, you'll feel a bit out of it since you're basically going through detox."
