introduction and the vic

My name is Aaliyah carter and I am  the youngest child of Linda and Mick carter.

I've got 2 older brothers lee and johnny and 1 older sister Nancy but I'm probably closest to my brother Johnny.

probably because he's the 2nd youngest and he's the only one that still lives with us, when he's not a uni anyway

Lee's is a soldier and he's currently in Afghanistan and Nancy is living with her boyfriend Wayne, I think he's full of fake but Nancy likes him so..

Anyway, my mum and dad told me last week that we are moving to Albert square to run a pub called the queen Vic and I'm really excited, mostly because I know that's where aunty Shirley and aunty Tina are and I haven't seen them in a while.

When I was younger my dad used to take me to see aunty Shirley because mum never liked her so she never knew about it.

I'm sad about leaving my friends and my school but to be fair I am only 7 I'll probably forget about them in 3 years anyway so it doesn't really make a difference to me, and there was this one teacher at my school that was a real bitch so..

Anyway let's skip to the car ride to Albert square

We were in the car on the way to our new "boozer" as my dad calls it and we stop and I look outside and there we are outside of the queen Vic , I was the first one to get out of the car

"What ya think?, Dya like it"? Dad asks as the 3 of us look at it while he looks at us waiting for a reply, I just nod

Then all of a sudden we hear the pub door open and a man fly's out of the pub "call yourself a Mitchell hey?" We hear another man from inside the pub at the man who is now walking away from the pub

"It's different" mum replys as lady di runs into the pub

"Lady di" I said as I went in after her afraid that she would get stamped on over the big crowd

"Aaliyah, get back here"I here mum shout, but I just ignore her

"Out get out, out" I hear a man shout at the people in the Vic as I tried to find lady di after that I just heard a load of shouting until I hear a woman say "what is that?, where has that come from?" She said gesturing to lady di

"Lady di"I said and the run up to her and hug her

"Who owns this little girl?" The same woman asks looking around before she turns to me and kneels down to my height "hello sweetheart, where are your mummy and daddy?" the woman asks and I see mum and dad behind her so I point to behind her and she looks at mum and dad.

"Is there a problem here?" Dad asks

"Just checking out the rubbish, come on ,out Shirley, out" the same man says grabbing onto Shirley's coat trying to throw her out of the pub

"I wasn't talking to you, are you alright?" Dad asks Shirley

"What you know her?" The man asks

"Everybody meet the new owner of the Vic, Phil meet Mick, my brother" Shirley says and then the pub goes silent and the man who's name I learned was Phil now had a shocked look on his face.
