"Why is there an emergency meeting?" Asked Polly Chapman. Her hair is sharp and blunt. She looks at me into the eye. Her eyes are deep and beautiful and she is pretty but nothing compared to Delphi. Delphi and Polly switch sides and stand beside me. I look at her and she looks at me and for the first time, she is nervous. I honestly don't know why. I hold her hand and she squeezes it. Dang, she's strong. That's why I need her. That's why I love her.
We go to the main hall and over there we see Professor McGonagall cheerful and happy. That's new to me. She's always solemn and stern but now she's happy and cheerful. Dad said that at a time, she was a really good teacher but after the wizarding war, things changed for her and she grew careful.
"Hello, Students! Hogwarts is having a great event this year. This emergency meeting was called for that reason. Because we are again hosting the Tri-Wizard Tournament. Last time, we've faced some disastrous sacrifices. But this year it will be safer. There will be 2 more schools coming in for this tournament. One is Illevermory and Beaxbatons. We will also have Dumstrang come. One girl from each school will participate in this tournament. But the age range is 17." Then I saw everybody moaning and growling over this fact especially the Slytherins.
"Let's invite Illevermory first!" A group of students come in and with pride show some creative art and talent with magic. It was really good.
Then the Beaxbaton ladies enter. All the boy grinned and I joined in too. Those girls are sick. Then I notice my dad, he looks at some papers. I notice Hermione too. She smiles as a greeting to the new students.
Then the Dumstrang boys come in with a bold performance and I see all the girls blush. Except for Delphini. She thinks they are weak. Then here comes Kane Krum. The greatest seeker ever. I stare at him in shock. He's so great.
Then Professor McGonagall comes and says "We are a bit late with the schedule so we are going to select the champions today with the famous and legendary goblet of fire! Let's start with Dumstrang."
"And the champion is- Kane Krum!" Obviously. It was so obvious. "The next champion will be from Beaxbaton and it is- Emma Duche!" She is so perfect. Anyway, the next champion was from Illevermory and it was somebody named Melanie Grinn. She was pretty. Then finally the Hogwarts Champion...
"The Hogwarts Champion is...Albus Severus Potter." And I stop dead.
