Chapter 16

Rose

"Good Morning Sleep-head." I try to wake up Delphini. But she just covers herself into the blanket. She tucks herself into it and then I take a horn and peep! She jumps out of the bed. Good thing I put a silencing charm on my bedroom. My parents would freak out. 

"ROSE!" She groans at me. Delphi's a night person and I just love mornings. Don't blame me, I love the morning because Scorpius likes dawn. Before I was a night person and to be honest, I still am, but since Scorpius loves mornings, he always comes into my room and cuddles with me because I'm mostly screaming due to my nightmares about the prophecy. But every time, I cradle in his arms, and go to sleep, I feel so relaxed and warm. 

When we broke up, then that time also and came and cuddled into me and I never denied. We had broken up but we still loved each other even though we were dating other people who were cheating on our back so ditto. 

"Get up, we need to uncover the mystery." Delphi gets up and she then goes back to sleep again. But I know a way to wake her up. "ALBUS! ALBUS IS DEAD! WHAT? I-I'm s-speechless. H-help m-me please."

"What the HELL?" She storms out of her bed and grabs my shoulder tight looking horrified and I can see her cry a bit. Ok, now I feel guilty. "I was trying to wake you up. I'm so sorry Delphi." I look down and Delphi gets relaxed and wipes her tears. "Hey, it's okay. I was foolish enough to think that Albus would die. He can never die, he's very strong and brave and smart. There's no chance of him to die." I hug Delphi tight and she hugs me back. 

"Now, let's go and reveal that mystery," Delphi says pulling back. 

"We're still friends right."

"Well, duh!" Delphi grinned. 

Delphi and I get ready. I wear jeans and a normal grey t-shirt. Delphi wears black jeans, a blue plain t-shirt, and a leather black jacket. I see that it's snowing heavily outside but in a few hours, it'll stop. 

I get out of my room and walk to the stairs until I meet Scorpius, he pulls me in and kisses me on my forehead and I smile. He smiles and I am suddenly happy after all of my nightmares. 

"Sorry, I didn't come today dawn. All good, Rosie?" he asked and I nodded. 

" Loads of nightmares but I survived." I said as I shrugged."I also cried. Pathetic, right?" 

"No, Rosie. People only cry when they've stayed brave for a long time."

"Who-"

"Dumbeldore."

"I see. Well, let's head for breakfast." I say and we hear somebody whistle from behind. 

"JAMES!" I freak out and jump. Scorpius curses beneath his breath and blushes slightly. 

"What the-" I start to speak. 

"I won't say it to anybody, I swear but at one condition." He gives me one of his rare evil smirks. 

"W-what?" I say, scared and frightened. 

"You, my little cousin has to help me in transfiguration." He extends out his hand. I grab his hand firmly and grip it hard, so hard that it pains. 

"Deal." I grit my teeth and Scorpius and I go downstairs while James grieves over his beloved soft hand. 

"Good Morning," Scorpius says and we get some good mornings from everyone. 

"As you know, the Christmas Break is ending hence you guys will return to school. As a matter of fact, you will need supplies." Dad says. 

"Diagon Alley," I said happily. 

"You seem cheerful today," Dad said and I smiled. 

"It stopped snowing, can I, Delphi, and Rose go outside," Albus asks. 

"N-"

"Yes, but be careful," Mum said interrupting dad. 

"Also Scorpius," I said and everybody just looked at me. "What? I'm trying to be friendly over here." 

"As if you ever are," Scorpius muttered and I say shut up Malfoy so that everybody can hear. We still need to keep the pretense in front of our relatives. Scorpios just roll his eyes and I grin sneakily. 

"We're out," Albus said and he and Delphi go out. I and Scorpius quickly finish our breakfast and we go outside too. 

"Hey," I said and Albus and Delphi looked at me. "So, I figured out what our clues mean."

"I think I should go," Scorpius said. 

"No." I held his hand as he walked behind. "We need you, Scorpius. I need you." I say and he steps forwards nodding. "So, Albus, your riddle says to look in the forbidden, then obviously it's in the forbidden forest. You know, where Voldemort uses to secretly hide and drink unicorn's blood. Over there, we have the true invisibility cloak." 

"How did you figure out this thing?" Albus says in shock. 

"Because I'm Rose that's why," I say with a smirk on my face. "Delphi, your father never had love in his life. Without love, one can become dangerous, he has something hidden with him. Something that influenced him to become who he was. We need to find that. We need to travel back in time." 

"But when? At what time in the past?"

"When my mother was tortured by Bellatrix." 

"Oh okay. Sometimes I hate her for being my mother."

"One is always not what they're born to be, they are judged by the choices that they made. And Delphi you made a good choice by being on our side.  There is nothing to be ashamed of." I say gently and she nods slightly. 

"Mine was to search for Dumbeldore. Not in dreams but in real life. Hence we need to travel back in time. To when Sirius black died. He again came in my dreams and said follow Padfoot's fall and Padfoot was was Sirius's nickname." I said. and everybody agreed. 

"So, when do we go back in time."

"Tomorrow at dawn."
