After Ian left, my parents got home safely.

"Hey sweetie, you look a little better than this morning. What happened?" My dad asked as he took his jacket off and gave me a hug.

"Ian came over today. We talked a little bit after we were done with practice. He misses us. A lot actually." I said and looked down.

"Oh sweetheart. If it makes you feel better, he is welcome here any time. Look at the time. You should go. It's almost 7." My dad gave me a smile before going to the kitchen.

"I'll be right back. I just need to go change." I said and went up to my room.

Because it was a very warm day, I decided to wear shorts, a white top with a thin white cardigan.

I pulled my hair loss from the ponytail before shaking my hair out.

My makeup was simple. Black eyeliner, a little blush, mascara and strawberry flavored lip gloss.

I took a look in the mirror, made a few adjustments before going downstairs.

I took my gold heart colored necklace, bracelet and earnings and put them on.

As I look in the mirror, the diamonds of my necklace, bracelet and earrings, sparkle under the light.

I nodded my head before going back down and into the kitchen.

"Wow. You look very pretty my dear. I already put your laptop and mixer in your bag by the garage door. I was just not sure if your speakers should go into your car." My dad said as he helped my mother with the dishes.

"No. It's fine dad. They have speakers there. Duke texted me at 4 and told me." I said before going up to them and gave them both a hug.

"See you soon baby. Or tomorrow. Oh, and try to have fun." My mom said and kissed my cheek.

"Ok. Love you guys. And thanks dad. See you." I said and took my bag and keys before going to my car in the garage.

As I was leaving our driveway, I got my phone out and texted Duke, saying that I was on my way, and that I would be there in 10 minutes.

By the time I got to his house, they were carrying in alcoholic beverages.

"Hey! DJ is here!" Someone yelled and out of nowhere, Duke jumped out.

"Hey. Here's your money. You can go right in and set up then you can start playing your tones, girl." He said and started to walk away but stopped and ran back to my car.

"If you want, you can even join the party." Duke said and made if he was playing an air guitar.

"Thanks Duke." I said and parked my car close to the house.

I got out with my bag in hand and went into the house.

Almost every weekend, Ian would bring me, his mom and his siblings here and we would just hang out.

Being back here again, gave me some sense of peace.

I went into the living room and up to the DJ booth and started to set up.

When I was done, there was booze in the kitchen, finger food set up and everything that can or could be broken went down to the basement.

"Yo DJ. Start throwing them beats." Nick shouted from the kitchen.

I pressed my finger down on the button. Just as my hand went back to my side, the beats of the music went around like shock waves.

The thing about my DJ skills is, I try to make it a memory you never want to forget.

So I record it. From the beginning to the end.

Just like a movie.

"Here! I think you would need this! It's the key for the fridge under your table! I made sure there a sodas and a few alcohol in there for you!" Duke said and gave me a key.

"Thanks Duke!" I said and put my head set back on.
