He just gave me a wide smirk.

"How are you my dear?" He asks me before taking another drag.

"Quit the crap. What do you want?" I say and cross my arms over my chest.

"Straight to the point I see. Well since you are in such a rush. I will make it easy and quick for you. Leave my son alone. Let him know that you don't want him. He is and will be with Britney. And when he graduates, they will be getting married. So stay away from them." He says with a serious look on his face.

I look at him and all I can feel is anger.

He brings his hand up to his mouth to take a drag from his cigarette. But before he could do that, I grab his hand and take it out of his hand.

I take one drag of the cigarette before I spoke again.

"Yeah I get it. Just because you couldn't have Britney's mother as your wife, you pinned it on your son to get her daughter. But tell that skanky bitch, if she ever touches me again, I'll kill her." I say and gave him a sweet smile before I turn to leave.

As I walk away, I didn't even pay him much mind when he said he'd be seeing me again.

I just walked away, smoking. When I came back to the bleachers, I packed up my stuff and started to walk back to my car.

But I stopped dead in my tracks.

I turned my head to the bleachers and to my amazement, Mr. Sleyton was still there.

When he sow I was looking at him, he put down the phone, gave me a wide smile and walked away.

I shook my head and turned back around.

I started to walk to my car again.

I opened the back door and dropped my bags inside before slamming the door.

Just as the door slammed shut, my phone went off with a notification that I got a text.

From - Mom
Sweetheart.. it's your sister. She had an accident. She is getting a surgery. Hurry and get to the hospital on North Road.

My eyes widen as I read the text from my mother.

I ran to the driver's door and got in as fast as I can.

As I turn on the engine, tears sprung to my eyes.

I drove out of the parking lot, and to North Road Hospital.

As I came through the gates, my heart was beating so fast.

I stopped in an empty parking spot and got out as fast as I can.

I ran in and up to the reception desk.

"Hello what can I do fo-" I cut the cheerful girl at the desk.

"I don't care. I need to find my sister now. Her name is Mia Blackley." I rushed out.

The girl typed something on the computer before she looked at me with a sympathetic smile.

"She is on her way to the OR. You can go to the waiting room." She said and started to get up to leave.

I ran behind her then grabbed her arm. I spun her around so she can look at me.

"I didn't ask you that. I want to know where she is right now. And I want to know what's wrong with her. So are you going to tell me or are you going to take me to her now?" I hissed at her in anger mixed with pain.

She nodded her and pointed at the elevator.

"Follow me please. Then I'll tell you what'swrong with her." She said and took my arm before pulling me.

"Start talking." I told her as I pulled my arm away from her.

I crossed my arms and git in the elevator.

"She broke on of her legs well she was practicing her routine. That is what your parents said happened. When she fell her leg broke at four places. I'm sorry." She said just as the doors open.

I looked up from the floor when I sow her.

"Mia!" I shouted out as I took off running towards her.

"Scarlet!" She yelled back.

As I came closer to her, two male nurses grabbed my arms. They held me back as two female nurses grabbed Mia to stop moving.

"No! Let me go!" She yelled as she cried.

I pushed and pulled but nothing worked with these two assholes.

"Ma'am. Please calm down." The one on my right said as he tried to hold me back.

"Scarlet please! Help me!" Mia shouted at the top of her lungs.

"What is going on here?" I heard my father's voice.

He looked at me then at Mia, who was moving around so much that blood was pooling on the floor.

My dad gave me one look. And that was it for me.

I lost it.

I jumped up into the air and dropped my head in between my legs. As I came down, I dropped flat on the ground.

The two nurses came to grab me, but I moved back in between the one's legs and kicked the back of his knees.

I stood up and ran to Mia.

"Hey hey. Shhh. Calm down. Mia. Shh. They won't cut your leg off. I promise. I'll work with you and I'll have you dancing again. I promise." I told her. Just as I was about to kiss her forehead, the two male nurses grabbed me again and pulled me away from her.

"Let her go. I got her." Came my father's voice again.

"He said let her go." Came my mother's voice next.

Just as the hands let go of me. I fell to my knees and burst into tears.

"Oh honey. She'll be okay." Said my mom and dad at the same time.

I felt arms wrap around me.

And just that, made me cry more.

If she doesn't loose the leg, she is going to go through hell.

We share the same thing.

We love to dance.

If we can't dance, then we'll just fall into depression.
