(ARC1) Part 6: Play Your Cards Right

Kaneki stood with his hands in his pockets looking straight at the brown haired woman who glared at him with a hand of magic cards in her hands.

"Before we start, may I know your name?" Kaneki asked.

"Cana Alberona" She answered.

"Ahh, Gildarts Daughter" Kaneki said.

Cana's eyes narrowed as she readied a card and Kaneki got into position.

"Make this fun for me" Kaneki said and launched at her.

Kaneki kicked at her only for her to launch multiple cards his way and they bounced off him as if they were wood hitting metal.

"Your kidding" She growled be she launched mulitple cards in unison and launched them at him.

Kaneki dodged them as they hit the ground and went straight for her.

Cana smirked and raised her hand. "Thunderbolts Fate!" She yelled as Kaneki was zapped with Lighting that came from the cards.

Pushing him back he skidded along the ground and shook his head as small jolts of electricity were clearly running up and down his body.

Kaneki smirked under his mask before he looked straight at Cana and ran full speed as she growled and threw mores shuriken cards at him

Kaneki dodged as he flipped over a couple and finally jumped over Cana so his head was just above her's as he landed behind her and slid to a stop and let his Kagune loose slamming it into her hip making her fly back as she stumbled to a halt.

Cana sighed as she stood back up holding her hip as she looked at it to see a bruise slowly coming forth.

"Damn" She growled looking back up at the white haired male ghoul.

Kaneki stood with his two red Kagune behind him swaying smoothly. Cana looked at her deck as she was about half empty of her current deck. She sighed and looked back up and stood in a fighting stance.

Kaneki smirked and stood in a position as his Kagune came in front of him from his shoulders.

Cana pulled out multiple cards and slid them open. "Suns Strength!!" Cana threw the cards, as they flew throught the air they caught flame and picked up the pace as well.

Kaneki caught one and smirked before he realized that it shone bright and exploded in his face a giant smoke screen was created as the others hit and caused even more explosions.

Cana smirked as she held more cards at the ready as the smoke cloud stood strong and dark. But a sudden burst of smoke from the top hand Cana on edge as she looked to see Kaneki land on a tree no longer in his mask as his eye's were clear now.

"What are you?" Cana asked as she was shocked that he survived the explosion but even more so that is left eye is red and black not the same as the right.

"A dark creature" Kaneki smirked before he disappeared beside Cana and slammed his shin into her hip sending her flying side ways.

Cana stood up with a slight falter as she felt the bruise on her side worsen. Cana growled before she looked back up to see Kaneki at her face, her eyes widened as her time slowed as Kaneki's Kagune came down on her before he dissapeared in a cloud of sand.

"Need some help?" She looked behind to see Max jumped down from one of the trees.

"Aren't you supposed to help Macao?" Cana asked.

"He had that Kushina Chick in the wraps when I left, he will be fine" Max said as he looked at the sand.

"I don't suppose you have a plan?" Max asked.

"Just one, Suns Strength!" She launched the same attack at the sand cloud and when the explosions hit a ball of part glass and part sand in surronding a frozen Kaneki.

"Great" Max sighed as he turned and was about to walk away with Cana before they heard a silent crack.

They turned to see a small crack open and sand flows out. Max readied more sand and Cana readied more cards as when a sudden shockwave knocked them back and they looked to see the masters going out in the city. They turned to see the ball split in two and Kaneki with four new kagune two looking like centipedes.

"Ah crap" Max readied more sand as he launched ball after ball at Kaneki.

"Alright, I'm glad Mira gave me a second of these" Cana pulled a card out with a chibi version of a man and activated it and then threw it into some bushes and then went back to the task at hand.

"Let's hope he get's here on time" Cana said quietly before turning and rushing the opponet she faced.

HEYO GUYS!!!

It's Zayn here and just wanted to say a few quick words before I leave you for the day. This Chapter was short and as such, your probably wondering why. Well, I have been pretty busy so I dont have a whole lot of time to create giant chapters. There will be some but not all.

Anyway, hoped you enjoyed and since this chapter was so short the new chapter hopefully come out on the sunday and then the same for tuesday. Well, have a grand time everyone
