Betrayed

(ARC1) Part 4: Romeo and Juliet

Romeo stood in front of Wendy as she her hand were at her sides conjuring wind magic around her fingers.

"Wendy" Romeo sighed as he looked at his old guildmate.

Wendy glared at him silently.

"For what it's worth, it's good to see you again" Romeo smiled a little.

"The feeling isn't mutual" Wendy growled.

"I figured as much" Romeo sighed.

"You know you can't beat me. I myself have been doing nothing but training for this day, waiting for this moment" Wendy glared.

Romeo sighed as he got into a battle stance.

"Let's just get this over with, wether I win or lose doesn't matter to me" Romeo said sadly.

Wendy just looked even more pissed before she launched at Romeo.

"Sky Dragons: Wing Attack!!" Wendy screamed as she let loose a fury of wind from her hands. Romeo jumped to the side dodging her completely. But didn't attack when she was clearly open.

"Sky Dragons: Sky Palm" Wendy continued her attack striking her palm towards the blue haired boy.

Romeo grabbed her wrist and flung her over his shoulder slamming her into the ground.

Romeo stood back and watched as she got back up in a calm and collected emotion.

"What's with you!" Wendy yelled.

"What's with me?" Romeo questioned.

"You should be using your magic, I was wide open and you did nothing what is it!! Huh!!!" Wendy screamed.

Romeo said nothing which just pissed Wendy off even more.

"Speak damnit!!!" She screamed as Wendy shot forward throwing a punch landing it square on his face causing him to skid back with a bloody nose.

Romeo looked up only for his eyes to widen as he just barely dodged and incoming foot.

"Sky Dragons:Talon!!" Wendy screamed as she hit the side of Romeos head with he shin covered in wind that caused him to fly sideways and hit a tree.

Romeo shook himself and looked back up at Wendy.

"Your starting to piss me off" Wendy growled.

"I know" Romeo said.

"You know! Then why aren't you fighting back at all?!" Wendy screamed.

Romeo stood there as he let a lone tear fall from his eye as he remembered the day that Wendy left.

(Flashback)

Wendy stood in front of Romeo with her bag and Charla next to her.

"Where are you going?" Romeo asked.

"I'm going away" Wendy said simply.

"Why?" Romeo asked.

"I can't go on without him" Wendy said as she walked past him with Charla flying to sit on her shoulder.

"Your going with Natsu?" Romeo asked.

Wendy paused and nodded.

"Why?!" Romeo yelled.

"Because, he didn't do it" Wendy yelled.

"But, how do you know! The thing he did, what he did to magnolia!" Romeo yelled.

"I've already decided, I'm not going to be with a family who betrays after they hear a simple rumour" She said and kept walking.

"I can't let you go Wendy! Your making the wrong deci..." Romeo was cut off when a blade of wind rushed past his face and cut his cheek.
