Betrayed

(ARC1)Part 8: The Fateful Final

Erza and Natsu stood facing each other with a glare on both their ends. Natsu listened to everything going on around them as he kept his eyes on Erza.

"It has been a while, Scarlet" Natsu said.

"Same to you, Natsu" Erza said as her grip on her sword tightened.

Natsu cracked his neck, his eyes closing as he did so. Erza's eyes narrowed as she watched Natsu act so carefree.

"I honestly thought you'd be more angry at the sight of me" Erza inquired.

"Oh I am, you have some nerve showing your face to me after what happened. But it can't be helped, that fool Markarov willed you to this" Natsu said as he turned his body and he and Erza started to circle each other.

"That FOOL, is a wizard saint. You would do kindly to show some respect" Erza growled.

"I have little respect for those who bend over for a bunch of weak cowards who call themselves a council" Natsu said as his green eyes narrowed at the red head.

Erza stopped as she glared straight at Natsu now, Natsu stopped his body still turned to the side.

"I think it's time for the main event, it's time you paid me back for what you did. You can pay me with your BLOOD!!" Natsu said as he pounced straight at Erza.

Erza barely dodged and incoming fist only to be slammed in the side by his right foot that sent her tumbling.

Erza slid to a stop as she used her right left hand and feet to jump in the air back at Natsu as her right summoned a sword.

Erza slashed down at him, he side stepped out of the way and slugged her right in the face with a flaming fist.

Erza flew straight into a tree as she fell to the ground. She stood up her left leg shaking slightly as she looked up to the Dragonslayer.

"Is this it? Five years and this is all? I expected more" Natsu sighed as he walked forward.

"I'm barely starting" Erza said as she glew a bright gold and requipped into her flame empress armour. But this time, she had two scimitars and her hair was in a single ponytail.

"Oh?" Natsu raised an eyebrow at the Armour.

"I've been waiting for this day" she said as she stood up.

Natsu smirked and made a "come" motion with his right index finger.

Erza's eyes narrowed and she rushed him slashing left and right as he simply dodged them all. At one point she slashed at his side only for him to jump and kick her in the face, making her slide back. She roared and launched back at him head butting his stomach causing him to gasp and slide back as well.

Erza didn't stop as she then readied herself before rushing him with a bunch of slashed pushing him back. Before she Sparta kicked him back. She then requipped a blade into her sea empress sword and raised it to the sky.

"Sea empress: Water show!"

Tails of water shot out of the blade and slammed into Natsu, giving him a good beating before the last one whipped him through a bunch of trees.

Erza stood there her armss seemingly limp as they held the blades she still had. She was exhausted from that last attack, not to mention that spell takes a lot out of her. She sighed and looked up and saw nothing but broken trees and a smoke cloud. She sighed and stood back up straight before she heard a weird noise coming from the cloud and her eyes narrowed before she saw a chain of magic rushing at her.

She narrowly dodged it before a second one came from the ground and a third form her left and before she knew it. She was on her knees as the chains forced her down and her head up.
