(Please Read) Why You Shouldn't Bully Stevinel Shippers

Alright, so I've been meaning to address this situation for a bit now, but I think it's time to open peoples eyes.

I was arguing with an anti Stevinel and they apparently didn't believe that a THIRTEEN YEAR OLD GIRL had tried to commit suicide because of the bullying she received from drawing a Stevinel picture.

The tweet was deleted, likely because she was bullied for it by Stevinel haters as well; to those of you who think you're doing good by telling Stevinel shippers to go and kill themselves or threatening and bullying them, how about you remind yourself that this is a kids show on a channel actually meant for kids.

You go around blindly crucifying anyone who actually likes this ship that you hate without proper reason and shit like this happens.
But do you care? No. In the end, you think that driving a little girl to try and kill herself is the right thing to do because this ship is "pedophilia".

And let's talk about that. How about we start with Gems themselves? Gems are an alien race of being made from light and a rock, they do not age except mentally as age is something that your pathetic brain is trying to push into a race of solid holograms or basically fucking AI.

Now let's talk about how you would define a Gem's age. Gems cannot physical age, as stated in an episode in the first season "So Many Birthdays". Now, I could see you saying this is wrong if you tried to ship him with a Diamond, one of the Crystal Gems, and I could even let you say that about Lapis and Peridot as they are both mentally mature, but Spinel?

Spinel was made with a mentality of a teenager; she went from basically being a clueless child to being a angsty teenager after being shown how the world really is.
She does NOT have the mentality of an adult, and seeing as Gems don't age (SOMETHING SPECIFICALLY STATED IN THE CANNON SHOW, IN LITERALLY THE FIRST SEASON) and the only thing to really show their age is their mentality, how can you call this pedophilia?

You can argue "aGe ApPliES tO aLL tHiNgS" or something stupid like that, but it won't change the fact that it has been cannon since the first episode that Gems don't have ages, they come out of the ground as they are and only experience or some traumatic event like what Spinel went through could make their mentality change to something that could be described as aging, and Spinel didn't age into a mature adult as a mature adult wouldn't go and attack innocent people for something someone else did to her.

Now with that out of the way, I want to go back to my original argument, you Stevinel haters are the most toxic of the entire community, you've replaced the Conniverse stans but at least that helps us see the few good Conniverse stans who don't mind the ship and don't bully others because who they want to ship.

In the end, you have literally no reason to behave this way, you should be ashamed and embarrassed of yourselves.

And don't think all of you Stevinel shippers are off the hook either! I've seen our fair share of toxic people attacking other ships, now wether that be because you've been shit on for the ship you like or because you just don't like the Conniverse ship, it is not excusable.

Attacking ANYONE for the ship they like without being provoked is wrong and I honestly was hoping that this community was above that.

But this isn't about the rare few in our community who does this, this is about the massive amount of people who bully Stevinel shippers just because they like a ship you don't- bullying people can really fuck someone up mentally, so keep in mind that those who you bully for liking a ship that you don't have emotions and feeling and are human too, they do not deserve to be treated this way just because they like a ship that you disagree with, and if you still go on to bully people after directly being told that...well then you have no excuse, you are the real scum of this fandom and you are what ruined this show's reputation.
