You, Bendy and Searcher Sammy reluctantly followed the old man around the silent studio after he grabbed his new bag, which you assumed to be the information that Bendy had been talking about. Henry, obviously slightly afraid of what was to come, was very rigid and tense as he walked, each step bearing a shaky hesitation. Nobody said a single word along the way. Henry was too anxious. Bendy was too suspicious. You were too concerned by their behaviors. Sammy.... Well, Sammy couldn't talk as a Searcher, but you noticed him sticking very close by your side.
Eventually, you were finally led to one particular part of the studio that you hadn't seen in ages. It was the very first thing you had seen upon returning to the abandoned animation studio. Henry had led to you the highest level of the studio, the entrance to the never-ending abyss. "The....entrance?" You whispered quietly to yourself, unaware that anyone else had heard you until Henry responded to your curiosity.
"Yes, the entrance." Henry replied with an exasperated sigh. You heard Bendy slightly growl at his confirmation, and the Ink Demon placed his hand on your shoulder, defensively gripping it as he pulled you closer to him. The old man chuckled weakly. "No need to worry, Bendy. Nobody will be leaving the studio for this." Analyzing the man's bright smile for a moment more, Bendy eventually released your shoulder and gave you space.
Following Henry down more hallways, you began to recognize the path. "Henry? Where are we going?" You asked him. He didn't respond, which you paid no attention to because you understood that both of you knew you already knew the answer to that question. When you reached the door to your former animation office, Henry gave you a simple instruction.
"Every animator had their one tool they cherished most." He began. "Some had a special pen, others had a special brush, and a rare few had a favorite jar of ink. I need you to get your favorite of each of these."
You were about to ask why, and why your "favorites" specifically, be he interrupted you by answering that you just needed to have them. Nodding compliantly without another word, you grabbed your favorite pen, favorite brush, and favorite jar of ink. All of them were exactly where you had left them countless years ago. Before you left the room, however, you caught Bendy staring at a particular picture on the wall. The one of Bendy in the dashing suit you had designed with the heart drawn around it in ink.
"Was that you?" You asked him sweetly. "Were you the one that did this?"
Bendy smiled warmly at you, and provided his quiet, soft-spoken answer. "Let's just say that I've always loved everything about you and all that you do." He gently took your hand in his and led you out of your former office, closing the door behind him.
"Good. Now, follow me." Henry smiled weakly at you, although you could tell his smiles were becoming more forced by the second.
"So what're we doing up here, old man?" Bendy asked curtly after following the man for a few more minutes. "And why does (Y/N) need her stuff?"
Henry slowly came to a stop, the sound of his footsteps ceasing just before everyone else's did the same. A thick, uncomfortable silence filled the atmosphere. Again, nobody said a word. Henry was too deep in internal conflict. Bendy was too unnerved by the man's sudden change in demeanor. You were too afraid of what Henry was worrying about. Sammy still stuck to your side, now holding the tips of your fingers. Why he didn't just hold your hand, you didn't know. That didn't mean it wasn't cute, though.
Eventually, Henry let out a rough sigh after what seemed like hours of deep contemplation. "(Y/N), sit down. Right here." He motioned to a chair at an empty desk aside from a lone, small piece of paper resting in the corner. You sent him a questioning look but still obeyed. "Just....stay here with Sammy for a few minutes. I need to talk to Bendy. Alone."
