Percy

As soon as Camp Half-Blood was visible, Percy waited for the gasps that were sure to come from Tony, Peter, and Steve. Instead, he heard cries of surprise from behind him. Turning, Percy found that the three of them were standing just behind Thalia's tree, pushing at an invisible barrier. Below the glittering Golden Fleece, Peleus was watching them cautiously, smoke puffing from his nostrils.

"Right, you can't get in yet," Percy said, then cleared his throat. "I, Percy Jackson, give Tony Stark, Peter Parker, and Steve Rogers permission to enter Camp Half-Blood."

In unison, the gasps Percy had expected finally came. The three Avengers stared down at the valley in amazement as the camp materialized in front of them. Percy grinned. "Follow me."

They started down the hill, Percy pointing everything out to them. "That's the Big House, where we have counselor meetings and where Mr. D and Chiron live. That's the camp store, then the arts and crafts building and the lava climbing wall."

"Lava?" Peter sounded incredulous.

Percy smirked. "We're demigods, we don't do 'easy.' Anyway, those are the cabins, one for each major god and we've been adding on cabins for minor gods in the past few years since none of them can keep it in their pants." Steve choked on air while Tony guffawed. "There's the Athena Parthenos, which helps keep monsters out and cost us a trip through Tartarus; that's the volleyball court; the bathrooms; the sword fighting arena and chariot race track; those are the woods—you don't want to go in there without a weapon—and then over there is the canoe lake." Percy finished.

They had reached the bottom of the hill and Percy breathed in the scent of Camp Half-Blood. Besides the ocean, it was one of his favorite smells; strawberries, fire from the forges, faint manure from the Pegasi. To Percy, the only thing better was the smell of the sea—or of Annabeth.

"Percy? What are you doing here? Who are they?" Will Solace, a tall blond with a love of flip-flops, said as he walked up to Percy. Trailing behind him was Nico di Angelo, Percy's favorite goth child.

"Hey Nico, Will," Percy greeted. "It's a long story, I'd rather tell everyone at once. Would you gather the cabin counselors and bring them to the Big House? And tell Chiron we need to have a meeting. I'll get Leo and Frank and the others."

"Sure, ASAP?" Will asked and Percy nodded.

The two of them wandered off, bumping shoulders and bickering like an old married couple. Percy smirked. He was glad Nico had found someone he seemed to enjoy spending time with.

"Follow me, we have to get some of my friends and then we'll go to the Big House and introduce you guys and explain the situation," Percy told Tony, Peter, and Steve, who all nodded and followed obediently, still staring in wonder at everything around them.

When they reached the canoe lake, Percy really didn't want to do it. He really didn't want to ruin the fun and bring everyone back to reality, but it had to be done. So instead of joining them as they lounged on the dock, laughing and enjoying the sun, Percy walked up to Leo, Piper, Frank, and Hazel and said, "We have a problem."

"Aquaman, you made it! Where's Owl Head, who are they?" Leo said, the excitement quickly disappearing from his voice.

"Percy, what's going on?" Hazel asked.

Percy sighed and winced as the joy that was in Piper's face faded. "We didn't want to tell anyone unless it became too big for us to handle alone, and we've reached that point. Annabeth's back upstate, we're gonna have to reschedule the reunion. I've called a camp counselor meeting so I can explain it to everyone at once."
