Harry's p.o.v

I close my book and frown up at Malfoy.

"what do you want?"

He looks offended.

"nothing, I promise. I just wanted to apologise for Blaise's behaviour and ask if theres anything I could do to make up for it."

I shake my head.

"it's fine."

Malfoy grins at me.

"sooo... Watcha reading?"

"oh, um some random book that Hermione's leant me. Its about Hogwarts's founders and their enemies."

He looks interested.

"cool. What does it say about Slytherin?"

I suddenly realise our close proximity and shuffle away a bit.

"I um haven't gotten that far yet."

For some reason I blush again and my stomach does a weird flippy thing when Malfoy takes the book from me and accidentally brushes my arm with his fingers.
He looks down at the book, concentrating hard.
I find myself staring at him, his pale hair falling in front of his eyes.
After awhile of awkward silence as he studies the book, I check the time and realise its been over an hour that we've sat here. If we didn't leave now we'd be late for dinner.

"um Malfoy? we should go..."

I point at my watch when he looks up.

"hm? Oh yes of course."

He gets up and brushes off his jeans.
When I stumble up I manage to knock straight into Malfoy and push him over, yet again.
I blush deep red and quickly pull him up.

"sorry Malfoy."

He sighs.

"seriously, you have the balance of a one legged stool."

He then picks up his bag and starts to walk back to the castle without a second glance over his shoulder.

"um, Malfoy?"

He turns around.

"my book?"

"oh, sorry. Here."

He throws the book to me and carries on.
I run to catch up with him but I don't try to make any further conversation.
When we reach the great hall, he turns to me.

"call me Draco, eh?"

He smirks as I blush before making his way to the slytherin table.
