Chapter 12 - Birthday Party... Surprise!: Part 1

[The following week]

"Are you really sure you are going to crash Min Hyuk's party?" Whee-in asked worriedly as she watch her best friend prepare.

"I won't be crashing the party Whee-in... how many times do I have to tell you that Moon Byul invited me last week when we had dinner." Hye Jin said.

"Speaking of that dinner, there is something we need to talk about..." Whee-in said with a serious tone.

"Here we go..." Hye Jin thought.

"What is it?" Hye Jin asked eyeing her best friend through the mirror.

"Why did you two kissed? Is that part of your plan?" Whee-in asked.

"Technically, she kissed me-" Hye Jin said.

"But you kissed her back!" Whee-in said and Hye Jin rolls her eyes at her.

"Anyway... I don't know the reason why SHE kissed me. I was just singing to her at the beach and the next thing I know, her lips was touching mine." Hye Jin said explaining herself.

"Ya (hey) you only told me about dinner Hye Jinie! What beach did you go to?" Whee-in asked. It took a few minutes for Whee-in to understand the silence of her best friend and that cause her to hit Hye Jin.

"Apa (ouch)! What was that for!" Hye Jin asked Whee-in annoyingly.

"You told me that you don't take anyone but me to that beach..." Whee-in said sulking.

"Why did you took her then?" Whee-in added.

"She was new to the city and wanted to try a new restaurant. The beach was the first thing I had in mind... geuroji maseyo (don't be like that) come on, why are you jealous anyway?" Hye Jin asked turning to face her best friend.

"Cause you said that beach was sentimental and I thought I was your best friend." Whee-in said directly surprising Hye Jin.

"Aigoo... you will forever be my best friend Whee-in Jung and no one, not even Moonbyul will be able to replace you in my heart. Moon Byul is just part of my revenge towards Min Hyuk and nothing more... believe me please." Hye Jin said hugging Whee-in unexpectedly making them fall on the bed.

"I believe you." Whee-in said hugging Hye Jin back.

"How about you come with me to the party? Two is always better than one." Hye Jin said fixing herself.

"As much as I want to help you in rubbing your hot ass in Min Hyuk's face for cheating on you, I can't mian hae (sorry). I have 3 dance classes to do later." Whee-in said sadly.

"Gwaenchanh-a (it's alright), I'll just drop you in your studio on the way." Hye Jin said while fixing her things which made her best friend scream in excitement.
