“Good morning, papa.” I kissed my papa on his cheeks while his talking to JD.“Good morning, Sweetheart.” Papa said
“What are you doing here?”
“You're more beautiful than the morning, Gav.” JD teased
I rolled my eyes “Nakikikain ka na naman,
“I just missed you, tagal nating Hindi nagkita and you didn't answer your phone, I texted and called you.” nagtatampong aniya
I smiled, i've been harsh to him for awhile, Hindi kasi maganda ang araw ko ngayon. I've heard from the council head president na nakipagsuntokan na naman daw si Jhay Bham and Uncle Vladimir, Bham's father contacted me to dismiss the unreasonable case of his son, if would be entitled to say 'No' I would gladly not interfere, but who am I? without Uncle. I'm not the famous SSG president.
“Hey are you listening?” he worriedly asked
Umiling ako “No, I'm sorry JD , I'm in deep trouble right now, Jhay Bham did something horrible,” sagot ko
Nagulat siya at natawa “Seriously, JB is still pain in the ass, huh?”
Ako naman ang natawa “Yeah he still is, He never change.”
JD stared at me “Some things never change.”
Natigilan ako nang sambitin niya 'yon, There’s nothing in that phase he just said right? But why does it feels like there’s a hidden meaning in it, unsure of what to do, I just smiled making things less awkward.
“Oh, we are here na pala, mauna na ako, JD” I said, smiling at him
He nodded “Ingat, miss perfect!”
I laughed and hopped out off his car and as I got out my smiled disappeared. Miss perfect. If only he knew I’m not perfect as they saw me, I’m not the perfect Gaviesta Levana, the Intelligent, Barbie doll, Famous, Supreme Student president, and daughter of the famous magnate millionaire here in Philippines.
I hated when people call me Miss Perfect when I am really not. I just wanted to show them how bad I am, how bruised I am, how flawed I am, but when expectation are in the plate it’s hard to not ate the food they serve. It’s like I should be The One they expected me to be. They are more commanding you to be the one who should really are.
Like you should dress like this, like that, you should eat like this, like that, you should study not partying. That you should do what they want you to do not what you want to do yourself.
Being Perfect has no freedom, Because once you'll get out of the cage and do things imperfectly, people will judge you like they really know you. When in fact they just know the pretender you.
People will not be there to support you but they'll be there when you aced the goal to congratulate you.
“Hi Gav!” Sandy waved upon seeing me, I smiled like I always and should do.
“Hello San, where’s Maybelle?” it’s weird na di niya kasama si May.
“Oh, She’s with Yelie,” aniya
Okay?
“Hi Gav! You're here na pala, okay lang bang sabay na si Yelie Sa atin mamayang lunch?” Maybelle asked
“Of course,” nginitian ko si Kim na hindi sakin nakatingin.
