The Dark Ages

The Overview (Part II)

Walking alone in the dark road, thoughts of his life start striking up his mind, about things he didn't think about much and questions he didn't find the answer to.

Who are his parents ? And who ever they were why would anyone leave a defenseless baby out in the dangerous woods ? A couple of questions he would often ask himself, yet they were questions that no one really knew the answer to, not even the people who found him, as a child of an unknown origin he was hated and ignored by most, he couldn't make any friends from either orphanage or the school, he always felt left out.

When he looks back at his life as a child he wasn't very happy about it and always hated himself for being different, although he was smart but he just couldn't find people who would understand him or even anyone who would give him a chance, he simply considered himself unfortunate, so his life didn't mean much to him

But then got closer to his destination and all the thoughts started to fade away... the more he walks forward the less there are tress and it's becoming clearer and clearer... and then he finds a vast empty land looks untouched and he was fascinated by it, he kept on walking in it until all of a sudden he started to feel dizzy and sensed a light earthquake and suddenly the sky, the land and the trees around to twist and bend in a strange and an unreal situation he began blacking out... and then he completely disappeared as if space was bent in a form of a hole that swallowed him... after that a sound wave of massive explosion bursted out of the hole that remained there it was loud enough that people in moreis heard it and they were freaked out by it children crying and animals looked very disturbed and the city was unsettled meanwhile the hole which was source of the sound was expanding and becoming bigger and bigger creatures of different shapes and forms started jumping out of the hole, monsters of huge sizes, strange shaped beasts and many other types, hundreds were coming by the minute, a few moments after the sound of the explosion was heard in moreis the first monsters started to appear from the distance without a warning the next they realize, they were being invaded by these monsters.

Unprepared and unaccounted for the invasion the city turns into a slaughter house in mere minutes the streets washed with blood... the screams and cries of help and death... the destroyed buildings the fires... the city and the great majority of it's population were wiped out from the world, the very few that managed to run away to the nearest town to warn everyone and send out the news of the invasion that destroyed one of the three big cities in the world, a man was sent out to get the news to the closest of the two remaining cities which is Mydicore warning the high authority of the city, as soon as the messenger arrives he delivers everything about what had happened, the city authorities open the gates for a brief time to receive all survivors who managed to get there then they immediately declare a warning, close the gates and prepares for an attack, as the city prepares while people are terrified and panicking, the horror reaches them and they barely hold it off, a little relief yet they remain ignorant of what is ahead of them they realize that everything is changing and they have to prepare for what is coming.

From then their world had declared a new age...
An age of horrors...
An age of nightmares...
An age of death and darkness...

And it was called : THE DARK AGES
