The Overview (part III)

3 weeks after the portal incident...

Mydicore - Tranzinia

Civilization was torn apart, People felt worried, afraid and hopeless, many of the refugees committed suicide after what they saw and this only made others feel even more terrified, however there were always people who were not ready to give up easily especially without even trying, and those were the ones who stood up and decided they want to fight back, they started as few but over time their influence on others made an impact and so they grew larger and larger, anyone who had the least bit of experience about the monsters had shared it, anyone who knew how to fight and use weapons taught the ones who wanted to fight back but had no experience, everyone who could forge weapons, make armors and prepare equipment had joined, and so it was, whether it was people who wanted to defend themselves, their families, their homes and lands joined and that was when and where the first war between humans and monsters was declared, it was the war that started all of the upcoming history.

2 months after The Portal incident...

Outside of Mydicore

The war has been planned out and prepared for, the army of humans was not large as it only consisted of 17,000 fighters both males and females from Mydicore and tranzinia which was a small number compared to the total population of their world and it was about 500,000 people. Even though they didn't have much time to prepare since the war was decided before any monsters beyond them find their way to the city, but the people of fovvinia were very fast learners and an intelligent race of humans.

The day comes when they pick up their swords, axes battle knives then open the gates and launch at the monsters and they start moving according to the plan, they started off by killing all the monsters surrounding both of the cities, as soon as they got out there and started killing the monsters they all felt that it was easier than they thought, that their fears might have just been in vein, many started to get hope and confidence once again but they had only known little as the monsters were only the ones fast enough to reach their cities and surround them, they were ignorant of all the other creatures that they cannot possibly imagine, whether it's their sizes, abilities, mutations or natures of their functions, however with all of their confidence while fighting they successfully get rid of all monsters around the cities clearing the outer side of the walls and then they fight each group from both cities try to fight they their way into the other one in an attempt to corner all the remaining monsters in a circle in between the two cities and finish them off, both sides are fighting in passion to reach the other, putting all efforts to succeed in the first war against a new threat never seen before, many fall victims to the monsters, but the rest continues to fight and advance just according to the plan and then finally...

Both sides meet, surrounding the last few groups of monsters, all the worriers look at each in happiness that the efforts and the victims of the war did not go in vein they continue to kill and slaughter until the last monster, And just like that their first war ever against the unknown has been settled in victory at the price of victims who fought bravely for the rest of the world,
Vectors cheer in loud and happy screams, so loud that it reaches both cities and people once again have hope that maybe this age may come to pass.

6 months after The Portal...

There have been many battles after the first war but none was as big, after it happened, many people decided to join the fighting side, the weapon holders became more common than none and almost everyone was doing their part, blacksmiths had spread around and there was many jobs available for people joining the fight as the road between the two cities needed constant guarding and patrolling, as time passed they have learned much more about the threat they were facing, the war had big take away being that the monsters they faced were only groups of mutated flesh and corpse eaters which were named the garcles or the scent followers as they were monster with abilities to sniff and find the scent of blood, very exceptionally that they could smell the blood inside of the living organs hundreds of miles away, and made the experts studying biology be very intrigued about the environment that cause this evolution in the monsters as they were also the most commonly appearing and it made them realize that these monsters come from a world that is inhabited by different creatures with different systems of functions and left them very curious about other uncommon types of monsters they discovered, the first one being a tall creature named Kelorona reaching the hight of estimated 12 meters (23 meters lower than the hight of the cities walls) with a tough flesh and huge horns which they have spotted multiple of, though only killed 2, second one is an extremely rarely seen monster that has body build very close to that of the human yet it has a bigger body that is entirely black, not much is know about this monster since it has only been spotted twice, though so far only 3 different types of monsters have been discovered, it is known that there are much more.

As the months pass people become more familiar with the new way of life, they learn how to survive and how to advance their way through time, much progress has been made but they are still within their cities borders.

Years go by and now many people have learned how to defend themselves whilst the majority of the population are still normal civilians over 35% are considered to be fighters and there have been people who mastered different types of skills, like the ones who mastered fighting using the sword, axe or the different variety of weapons, people who mastered the control of their bodies reaching high levels of endurance and faster reflexes, people who would rather take the fight into their studies and books by learning and researching all about the new age they are living in, but as many influential and great people have appeared, there was one person that had changed the way of the resistance forever.

A man named Walter Descender who was also known as the Grandmaster, he was very famous for his extraordinary mental and physical abilities but he was even more popular as the New World System creator.

As many fighters and resistors joined many others were dying on the battlefields and on their duties, the fault was mainly on the unmanaged and random system of defenses and offenses and sometimes due to poorly trained and unprepared individuals who are sent out on missions, however it all changed when Walter had interfered and created a system where he constructed many academies to train people adults being between the ages of 19 to 34 and teenagers from 13 to 18, separating between offensive and defensive trainees into two branches and naming the defense branch : Knights and the offense branch : Hunters, and introducing ranks to each branch, as the knighthood graduates would start at :

Fist knight > Gauntlet Knight > Shield Knight > Table Knight > Omega And the highest rank being (Titan)

And As for The hunters ranks :

1st Grade hunter > 2nd Grade hunter > Silver Emblem hunter > Gold Emblem hunter > Executor And the top rank (Elite)

He and his sister Scarlet Descender who was a popular blacksmith introduced many new types of weapons and fighting styles such as stringed combat knife, Combat scythe and the hidden blade equipment.

Walter Descender was first heard of 5 years after The Portal by then he was only 10 years old and he was known as the kid that faced and killed 4 ghouls on his own after his family fell victims to them, him and his older sister were the only survivors of a night carvan traveling towards Mydicore and since then he had learned many things about the world in a short period of time and he dazzled everyone around by his mental abilities as he was not like other children he worked, trained and grew to eventually become the best at whatever he did, he had lived an eventful life, he inspired and influenced many, helped people better understand the world around and gave them hope to keep fighting for a better future, he was very idolized and respected by all who knew him and was even offered to be the leader of the new world but he turned it down since he always preferred isolation and independence, he was very ambitious as he was the one to also start the first expedition into the land of where it all started, to head into moreis, however no one knew by the time of the dangers that were lying ahead of them and sadly it ended in his tragic death by the young age of 26 and the death of over 3000 other hunters.

Ever since then humanity had fallen into fear once again.
