"Celo, why are Michael, Luke, Calum, and Ashton standing at our front door?" Blair asks, yelling through their small house.
It was quite messy at the moment, both of them not finding the time to clean. It is 3 days after they got their Vans and Blair was extremely confused.
"Oh, yeah! Sorry I forgot to tell you, they are coming over!" Celo laughs walking out of her room. Her shorts, extremely short, obviously riding up after she sat down and hadn't had the time to pull them down.
"Well, uh, come in?" Blair whispers letting the four boys into their house. At the store, she was convinced she would never see these people again, she didn't have to be herself. She was very bratty and rude at the store, in her opinion, except she convinces herself everything she does is that way.
"We never got your name." Ashton smiles.
"Blair." She whispers again.
"I'm sorry?" Michael says leaning closer to her, and so do the rest of the guys, making her back up.
"Her name is Blair." Celo smiles putting her hand on her shoulder. Blair gives her a 'thank you' look.
"Okay, that is nice." Calum smiles. Blair nods.
"I'm going to go to my room." Blair whispers pointing to the hallway that leads to the bedrooms.
She jogged to her room leaving the door cracked. She sat in her rolling desk chair and started to play All Time Low, that was one of the normal things she listened to.
Her dark, navy blue walls, covered in band posters caught her attention as she squeezed a stress ball in her hand. It helps her, staring at walls and keeping her hands occupied.
"Blair, babe? I need you to reply to me." Celo says sitting in front of Blair catching her attention.
"What? Sorry." Blair says. She puts the stress ball down and looks Celo in the eyes.
"You really need to stop staring at walls and squeezing things. It'll lead to something bad one day. You completely zone out, don't hear anything, I'm worried about you, Blair."
"I'm sorry, I- I don't- I'm sorry."
"Don't be sorry, we just have to work on it. You help me if I help you? I think it sounds like a deal, and I need your help. Like, right now." Celo says grabbing her wrist and pulling her up.
Blair nods in agreement even though Celo couldn't see. They walk to the living room where the boys are sitting and talking about something random.
"Hey guys!" Celo says happily sitting in the big recliner. She scoots over and Blair sits beside her.
"Hey, so about the concert?" Calum says.
"Yeah. Blair I need you to call out dads and ask if we can have six tickets to their show in Sydney this weekend." Celo says handing Blair her own cellphone that she left on the coffee table.
"Okay." Blair says quietly.
She dials her father's number and waits for him to answer.
"Hello? Blair?" Richard answers.
"Hey, dad. I have a question."
"What, sweetie? I need you to speak up."
"I have a question." She says getting louder.
"Go ahead. Knock me out."
"Okay, this is a long shot... I need six tickets to your show in Sydney this weekend."
"Okay, let me talk to Vance and I'll call you right back."
"Okay, love you."
"Love you too. Bye."
Blair hangs up the call and sees all eyes on her. "He's going to talk to Vance and call me back." She shrugs.
"Okay, I have a question. Explain the name of the band I've been trying to crack the code for years." Michael sighs.
"I'm Celo Knight. That's Blair Newman. We were born in 1996, implying we are 18. K: Knight. N: Newman. B: Blair. C: Celo. Then 96." Celo says.
"OH." Ashton yells.
Blair's phone starts to buzz in her hands.
"Hello?"
"You have six tickets to KNBC-96 next Sunday night, Mrs. Newman." Her father says in an official voice making her laugh.
"Thanks, Dad. I love you. See you Sunday, or are they GA?"
"Do you think I would give my daughter and her friends... General Admission?!" He says it almost like it is unbelievable.
"Okay, okay. I understand. I love you, and thanks. See you Sunday."
"See you Sunday. Stay safe. I love you, bye."
"Bye."
Celo smiles at Blair as she hangs up the phone. "One, you and your dad are so cute. Two, WERE SEEING OUR DADS IN 4 DAYS. Three, and Mike the Teddy Bear. Exciting things." Celo smiles.
With that hugs were passed all around. When Luke got to Blair they held the hug for a little while longer than she had anticipated. She found it strange but just went along with it.
"Wait, is Mike the Teddy Bear their security guard?" Calum asks.
"Yea. Why?" Celo says.
"Well, I knew his name was Mike but they usually call him grizzly bear, y'know... because he is so intimidating."
"Yes. But in reality Mike is just a big softie. He used to have tea parties with us on holiday." Blair smiles.
"Hey, sounds like our Mike." Ashton laughs wrapping his arm around Michael's shoulders.
Blair was having a hard time thinking about how she felt about these four boys that mysteriously made a place in her life. "Let's see how this goes." She mutters to herself then smiles at everyone surrounding her.
