"I can't believe Denny is leaving the band." Blair said shaking her head.
Denny was the drummer, and youngest member. He was 37 while the other men were in their early 40s.
"Apparently Nora is pregnant." Richard said.
"Well yea, I got that." She muttered grabbing his water out of his hand and taking a sip. The show was over and they were backstage.
The boys were talking to the members while Celo talked to Vance.
"It'll be okay kiddo. He just wants to be there for his kids." Richard said rubbing his daughters back.
"Yeah." She sighed standing up. "I just wish my father was too."
"Blair get back here!" Richard yelled, causing everyone to look their way.
"What?! I'm just telling you the truth! Mom is gone! You are always on tour! I'm alone, Dad! I know you are doing this for the better but it sucks. Denny is making the right decision and I'm happy for him, I just wish you were around when I was younger." Blair yelled tears forming at the corners of her eyes.
"Blair, come here." Richard said wrapping his daughter in his arms. "I'm so sorry, this band is for the best though. Without it you and I would be nothing. I only do things for you to be happy. I love you, kiddo, I only want the best for you. Your mom would be very proud of you." He whispered as Blair cried into his chest.
Celo and everyone had left the room. Blair doesn't cry and Celo didn't want people to see her do it when she did.
"Thank you, dad. I love you." Blair whispered.
"I love you more than you could ever imagine, and so does your mother. I'm so sorry she died." He said still holding onto his daughter tightly.
"It's fine. It's not your fault. I'm going to go help Mike clear up." Blair said letting her father go.
"Okay. Come say goodbye before you leave."
"Will do." She said as they did their special handshake.
She walked out of the door and straight passed all of the people standing outside of it.
"B, wait!" Celo yelled.
"I'm going to help Mike! I don't want to be bothered. Goodbye." Blair yelled back walking out to the stadium and onto the stage where Mike was putting away speakers and guitars.
"Hey, Champ." Mike smiled throwing a mic at her.
"Hi." Blair smiled back.
"Did you talk to your dad about Denny?"
"Yeah, it didn't go down to well."
"I can tell. Want a hug?"
"Yeah."
"Now, help me put things in cases and out to the truck! High Ho!"
"Your a strange man, Mike."
**
On the ride back home there was a lot of talking, just not from Blair. She sat in the very back of the van in the far left corner. Luke was in the middle and Ashton was on the right.
The row ahead Michael was in front of her, Celo in the middle, and Calum on the right. Taxi vans are weird.
"Blair?" Celo said.
"Yeah?" She said back not in the mood to talk to anyone. Saying goodbye to her father has always been hard for her, always emotional.
"Y'know we are going to the guys place, right?"
"Okay."
"Stop."
"What?"
"That."
"What's that?" Blair snapped getting annoyed.
"Tying and untying your shoelaces, it's bugging me." Celo said.
"Oh really?" Blair asked throwing her foot up by Celo's head and starts to untie and tie her shoelace. (The KNBC-96 Vans.)
Celo turned around and slapped her which turned into a big slapping war which turned into the two of the leaning across Luke and casually slapping him at times. When luke got fed up they just laughed and calmed down.
"We're here." The annoyed driver snapped, which caused Celo to throw the money at him and jump out of the car and the others.
The rest of the night was very, very eventful.
