The meeting with the Jeons went as expected, the wedding was set for the 14th of November. Jiwoo was okay with it since it was her duty, what worries her the most is sooyoung.

After the Jeons left she went upstairs to check her sisters and sooyoung. Her sister Yerim was in her bedroom sleeping soundly, Chaewon was nowhere to be seen. She went down and checked the kitchen, living room, garden... but nothing until she found her in her dad's bedroom, she didn't open the door fully she just overheard the conversation.

"Father... Is sister Yves no longer from our family?"

"No, she committed a sin. Plus she was never a part of this family, she's a dirty plebeian and will always be."

"What sin? What do you mean by plebeian?"

"Years before you were born your mother desired to adopt a child, I always opposed that idea but your mother was very firm in her decision so we went to an orphanage and adopted Yves. Her sin? Well... she fell in love with your big sister Jiwoo. She's disgusting."

"Father I believe it's not a sin since we aren't related by blood... plus sister Jiwoo is free to choose who she will marry, I think you're forcing too much on her... and it's affecting me and sister Yerim too. As well as sister Yves."

"Shut up, shut your mouth in this moment. I do not want you to come near my room ever again"

"Yes father."

Jiwoo was no longer hearing the conversation when Chaewon was getting out of the room. The words her father said lingered in her mind for the whole afternoon until bedtime.

At night she couldn't sleep the big moon was illuminating her bedroom from her window, she wondered why it shines so bright at times like this.

Suddenly she heard a door closing next to her, which was Yves' bedroom door. She hesitated for a while asking herself if it was okay to go there but she got out of her bed and went silently to stand outside Yves door.

She knocked once because she was starting to regret going there but Yves was faster than Jiwoo's feet and opened the door looking at her sister with big surprise eyes

"Hey, what are you doing here?"
