The next day Jiwoo was forced to put on a fancy attire because the Jeon's daughter will be coming to visit as the woman she'll spend the rest of her days with.

She didn't like that, she hasn't even known the woman to say that 'yes I can live with her until I die' but that's just how it works and she can't say or do anything to change it. She went to her sister's room to check if they were ready. Both Chaewon and Yerim were sitting down in front of the mirror playing with each other, it reminded jiwoo when they were younger and played all day... mother was still alive back then.

"Hurry up, don't play around too much or you'll get messy"

That's not what she wanted to say, she wanted to join but there's no time for that.

She was just getting out the room when she spotted Yves leaving hers, her mouth dropped when she saw her sister's long dark hair chopped off.

"Why did you cut your hair so short?!" Jiwoo panicked.

"I'm going to talk with father about the adoption papers" Yves simply said leaving Jiwoo in shock.

Her body didn't allow her to just stand in the hallway, she folllowed yves to his father's room, telling her that is not a good idea what she was trying to do, she tried to stop her but it was too late when they reached the door, yves turned around and gave her a determined look "let me do this, don't interfere."

Yves came in and saw the king laid down with so many cables connected to his body she almost felt pity for the man. She slowly walked until she was standing in front of his bed, the man gave her a disgusted look but she continued anyway.

"Father I've come here to say that I don't want your last name anymore. I am canceling this adoption and you need to sign this paper." She extended her hand with the paper.

"I am not your father, don't ever refer to me as father!" the man screamed so loud that even Jiwoo that was outside heard.

"Sign this paper and I will no longer call you father. I'll go my own way, I won't live here anymore you won't see my feet step into this palace"

"I know you want to take my daughter's hand... that will never happen. If you leave I'll make sure you never EVER come back"

"I agree, after all I don't have anything to do here anymore."

And the man with all his strength signed the paper.
