Remus' Pov

"Ughhh classes start tomorrow."

Sirius groaned, falling flat on his bed.

"I might just go into the common room and talk to the girls to get my mind off of it."

James laughed. Peter did too, trying his hardest to fit in. I sat on my bed reading. My luggage already unpacked.

"I wonder if Lily blossom is down there! I bet she's reading! Oh, I love it when she reads!"

James continued to compliment Lily. He was truly hopeless. More confident than me. That's for sure.

"What about you Moony?"

"What about me?"

I closed my book and sat up, looking at them.

"You know. Are you finally going to get with that Ravenclaw girl in our Transfigurations Class?"

Sirius looked at me with a grin growing on his face.

"Oh Padfoot, he's sensitive you can't ask him that! Plus he's married to his Advanced Potions book!"

James' tone sounded rather sarcastic. Laughter filled the room once more as I began to read.

"What! Lucia don't betray me like that!"

A female voice called out.

Padfoot, Prongs, Wormtail, and I walked to the great hall for breakfast.

"What I couldn't help myself!"

We sat down at the table and the voice followed in.

"Hey (Y/N). It's Hawthorne. You know the one who asked you on the 'common room date'!"

Sasha called out.

'(Y/N)...'

I turned to look at the seventh year girls.

"Oh...He's coming this way!"

Lyai practically bounced.

"(Y-Y/N)! Good morning! Uh...How- how are you?"

For some reason, my blood began to boil. It irritated me that he was talking to her.

"Fine thanks...."

She looked annoyed herself. The white shirt hugging her chest tightly. 'Shut the fuck up Remus. What are you thinking?'

"Oi Black!"

She turned to look at the Slytherin table. Right now (Y/N) and her friends stood in the middle of the hall.

"Any room left in that bra for me?"

Some seventh year shouted at her. She remained calm. She waved her hand for him to come to where she was standing, meeting him halfway.

"Come find out."

She smiled and walked out of the hall with him, Sirius was laughing intensely at his sister's reaction. A sting hit my chest rather hard.

Your Pov

You walked out of the room holding the male's hand and pulled him into a broom cupboard.

He began to lean in when-

"Petrificus Totalus."

The boy fell against the wall. You sighed and walk out, going back to breakfast.

Before you knew it, classes had already started and you were a month into the new school year. You sat in the library. Multiple 'Muggle Studies' textbooks in front of you.

You only took it because you thought it would be easy. You were wrong. Like very wrong.

"What in Merlin's good name is a Microwave?!"

You whisper-shouted. A tall boy tapped you on the shoulder. Remus.

"Do you need some help? My mother's a muggle."

The boy smiled and sat down next to you.

"So. What's a microwave?"

You ask like it's the hardest question on earth.

"It's like a metal box with a glass door. You put food in it and it heats it up."

He explained. He continued to help you throughout the afternoon and you helped him with his Herbology homework.

The two of you exchanged jokes and talked about books once you had finished your work. You sat in a secluded area so no one would see the Gryffindor fraternizing with the older Slytherin.

You both enjoyed the time spent together and agreed to meet up to study in the future.

You looked up at the dark but clear sky. It was rather cold now October had hit. You stood in the middle of the Quidditch field at 8 pm.

"(Y/N)!"

Sirius ran up to you, eloping you into a hug. You hugged him back.

"How are you?"

"I'm good. What about you Sirius?"

He gave a toothy grin.

"I'm great! We were learning about Amortentia today. It was hilarious. James just kept going on and on about his 'Precious Lily Flower.' Remus blushed a lot and barely got a sentence out when he was asked to sniff it and Peter... Well, Peter was just Peter!"

He sounded so enthusiastic about his day. He didn't stop smiling.

"Well? How was class for you today?"

"Normal and boring. Got my Muggle Studies work done though with a little bit of help..."

A smile played on your lips as you said that.
