[15] Ignoring Love

Remus' Pov

I feel so bad for ignoring (Y/N).
I couldn't stop thinking about her in that way. We haven't even be together for long and i'd hate to force her into it. I sat with Padfoot and Prongs. Peter is at home this christmas. The two of them were playing wizards chess.

Suddenly, someone sat beside Sirius.

"Hey little bro."

'I know that voice..'

"(Y/N) heyyyy."

James commented.

"Hey Lupin."

I pretended to be too focused on reading to reply.

"Where's the little rat boy?"

"Peter? Oh christmas with his family."

Sirius replied.

"King to E4."

James called out.

"Checkmate."

Sirius got mad and threw the board.

"Fuck you Prongs."

Sirius sighed.

I looked up and her eyes met mine. She smiled and I felt a stabbing pain in my chest. I felt so bad for ignoring her all this time.

"Black you're taking Transfigurations for your N.E.W.Ts right?"

I asked her.

"Uh yeah I am."

"I could really use the help on just going over some stuff. Believe it or not, i'm terrible at it."

I lied. It was partly a lie. I was better than most but I could improve.

"Sure Lupin. I was gonna ask if i could steal your friend dear brother but i don't actually care."

She got up and made her way to the door.

Your Pov

You walked to the library. It was also pretty much empty. Remus appeared from around the corner.
You leaned against the window and he stood infront of you.

"You've been ignoring me..."

"I-I know I'm sorry.."

He trailed off.

"What happened..? Was it me?"

You asked.

"No..Well yes a-and no.."

He struggled to get his words out.

"You can talk to Remus. If it's something I'm doing wrong then maybe i can—"

"No! It's um.."

He was silent for a moment.

"Look um..If I tell you, promise not to laugh?"

Remus' face tinted in hue.

"I-I've been having um..dreams about um.."

You got slightly worried that something was wrong.

"About me and you..and every time i see you it makes me feel a sort of way..I don't want to force you into anything t-that you don't want to do.."

You pulled him into a embrace.

You heard him swallow rather hardly. He awkwardly return your hug. You pulled away and looked at him.

"Remus?"

Remus' Pov

I don't know whether it was because of my dreams or that her body was just pressed against my but i couldn't help but kiss her.

It was like the day in the snow. It was passionate and rather rough.

Your Pov

Remus took you by surprise. After your lips touched, you didn't want to pull away. His tongue slipped passed your lips. He, once again, taking over.  Eventually, the two of parted.

He pushed you against the window, he buried his head in your neck.

"Care to tell me about these 'dreams' my love?"

You whispered.

"W-well.."

He went shy again.

"You could always show me."

"I-I would never force you into d-doing that.."

You figured out what sort of dreams he was having.

"Remus."

He backed off of you.

"It was one of those dreams?"

He blushed deeply.

"I didn't expect that from you."

"W-Well i'm a guy s-so.."

He trailed off.

You pulled him closer to you by his belt buckle and kissed him. He was going to kiss you back when the sound of Sirius' voice rang through the library. You shoved Remus into the chair infront of you.

"How do you still not get it?"

You asked, playing off as if you totally didn't just make out.

"I just don't!"

Remus laughed.

"Can i have my friend back now?"

Sirius asked, turning the corner.

"Uhh yeah. And Sirius?"

"Eh?"

"I can't meet later. I might be able to but i'll send you a paper crane if i can't."

You mentioned.

"Can you just note down what we talked about?"

Remus asked.

You followed his request and wrote down some random Transfigurations notes down. You left a note on a separate piece of parchment for him.

"Here."

You hand Remus the notes and smiled.

"Thanks."

He looked at the separate parchment.

'Dungeons at 8:45pm. Slytherin common room is practically empty.'

You looked at the time on your watch. '8:44pm.'

You saw Remus' head from around the corner.

"Remus?"

"Hey love.."

He smiled when he saw your face.

"I just checked, the only people in the common room are my friends. The rest are in bed because they're like first years."

You said while holding your hand out to him.

He gladly took it and you walked towards the Common room.
