"Where is she?! My poor baby! Hades, tell me you know where she is!" Demeter demands and stares into Hades fearful eyes. The mortal wind air sends chills up Hades' spine. Flower petals float gently in the breeze. No he is not afraid of Demeter's wrath and her treacherous yet sorrowful glare. He is afraid of where Persephone is.
After Persephone's scandal with Apollo was leaked to the public, she ran away. Her whereabouts are completely unknown even when she has practically all the gods and goddesses looking for her. So where could she be?
"I'm sorry Demeter. I'm so so sorry. Me and Persephone are so close and yet I have no idea where she could be. I'm as clueless and worried as you are..." Hades sighs and hugs Deméter. For a minute, Demeter feels empathetic towards Hades. Hades! Her enemy. Her foe. Her brother. She has been treating him so poorly and yet he still helps her find her daughter and maintain some sympathy. Demeter starts to cry in Hades arms and Hades holds her even tighter.
"Oh brother! I don't know what I'm going to do! I'm such an awful person! The way I treat you and even Persephone! I'm probably one of the reasons why she ran away!" Demeter cries and looks up at the burning, yellow sun. But I'm not the only reason, damn Asspollo she thinks to herself. Hades lets go of their embrace and wipes away her tears.
"Demeter, you are not an awful person. You are just protective. And after what happened between her an Apollo, you have every right to be. As for me, I'm used to the poor treatment by now. However it is nice to hear that you still consider me your brother" Hades laughs and Demeter rolls her glistening eyes, still wet of tears.
"Caught me off guard so don't push your luck next time" she mumbles.
"I do have a confession to make though. I hope that you don't overreact too much." Hades sighs and puts his hand on Demeter's shoulder.
"Did you rape my daughter like Apollo!?" Demeter yells harshly with some blinding fury in her eyes.
"What!? No! It's not like that!" Hades yells back at her, his voice very gruff.
"Then tell me your confession, brother" Demeter laughs but stops herself when she sees Hades's deadly face.
"As I was saying, while I would do anything to help my desperate sister find her daughter, it isn't the only reason I need to find her. I thi—think that I—I'm—"
"Well spit it out. I don't have all freaking day" Demeter sighs and looks down at her golden watch.
"I think I'm in love with her"
