Chapter 9

(Y/n)'s P.O.V
We all got in the Aunt Rachel's car and drove off to the Pyramid. But Dad thought it'll be a great idea to let Sonic drive. We nearly crashed into so many things. We finally came to a stop as there was a parking space near the Pyramid. Sonic then pulled over but he didn't park well. "Good thing you didn't hit anything!" Dad exclaimed. "Who thought it was ok for the alien to drive?" Mom asked. "Hey! I got us here. And please 5 stars." Sonic says. I then get out the car but I felt so dizzy. "Aw geez please don't let Sonic drive anymore. I feel dizzy after the ride." I said out loud. I then walked over near dad and we looked over to see the Pyramid. "So this is it?" Sonic asked. "Yup this is the Pyramid." Dad said. "Wow!" Sonic exclaimed.

"What happens now?" Mom asks but Sonic already left. But then he comes back. "It's no use you need a special key to get to the roof." Sonic said. I just sigh out. "Well what now?" I ask dad. "Time to abuse the power within me!" Dad says. He then goes back into the car and gets out the duffel bag he had. He empties it out and he turns to Sonic. "Get in." He tells him. Sonic then gets in the duffle bag and Dad gives me the bag. "Here you carry him." Dad said. "Oh and put these on." He said as he placed his glasses on me. I then grab the duffle bag and we head over to the pyramid.

We walk in and so far no one says anything. We then made it to the front desk. "We need the key to the roof." Dad said seriously as he showed his police badge. The lady at the front looks at him confused. "You came here all the way from Montana?" She asked. "That's how important it is." Dad replied. She gave us a look and finally gave us a card which must be for the roof. Dad grabs it and he tells the lady. "You just saved a life." 

We then walked over to the elevator. Mom pressed the button to go to the roof. I then feel shuffling in the duffle bag. I then see Sonic's eye from the little hole in the duffle bag. "How much longer I can't breathe in here." He asked. I then motion him to be quiet. A lady looks over and sees us. "Do you have your child in that bag?" She asks. "No. Well it is a child but it's not mine." Dad says. I face palm at his dumbness. "That's not you're child?" A man next to me asks. They slowly start to back away. We then get in the elevator as it dings showing that it arrived.

We get in as it goes up. It then opens it doors and dad opens the door to the roof with the card. I then open the duffle bag and let Sonic out. He then comes out with an underwear on his head. I giggle at him. "Well we're here. What now?" I ask. Sonic then goes and grabs a brown bag. "Oh yeah that..." I trail off as I look down sadly. "That's it? What do you do now?" Mom asked. "Well all that I have to do is think about where I want the other end to appear and I throw it." Sonic replies. "That's it? We did it!" Dad exclaimed. "We did it!" Sonic exclaimed. "Hey sorry we didn't get to do everything in your bucket list." Dad says. "It's ok. I did the ones I needed the most." Sonic said as he eyed at me. I then walk over to him and I kneel down to his level and I intertwine my hand in his. I look over to dad who has a shocked face. "No way..." dad trailed off.

"Wait what does this mean?" Mom asked. "(Y/n). Thank you so much I'll never forget you." Sonic says as he turns to me. "I-I totally forgot you had to leave." I said as I place my hand on his cheek. "Please don't go Sonic." I said trying to keep the tears in. "I'm sorry (Y/n) but I have to. I have to protect you and your family." Sonic says as he hold my hand. "I'll try to stop by if I can." Sonic said reassuringly. I lean in and I kiss his cheek as I hug him. "I love you." I whispered in his ear. "I love you to (N/N)." Sonic replied. "Wait so (Y/n) you are in love with Sonic?!" Dad asked. "Yes dad and I hope you understand." I say. Dad just looks at me with a soft smile. "I understand completely honey I mean look at me and your mom." He says as he kisses mom. "Yeah yeah dad I know you love mom a lot." I said as I looked away from them. I then look over at Sonic. "Please don't forget me." I say to him. "I won't and I never will." Sonic said as he kissed me. I melt into the kiss as I kiss back. We then pull away.

"You guys are just adorable!" Mom exclaimed. I started blushing madly after mom said that. I then turn back to Sonic. "Well you should head over to your planet. Be safe ok?" I tell him as I kiss his nose and i get back up and I get next to dad. "I will ok! I'll miss you guys." Sonic said as he then took out a ring. He took a deep breath and he threw it in the air to open the ring to mushroom planet. But it then it was knocked off by a robot. Uh oh. Dr. Robotnik is here.
