Chapter 10

(Y/n)'s P.O.V
I slowly start to stand up and I look around to see robot drones surround us. "Ok who left their 'Find my Phone' on?" Sonic jokes. I start to back up and dad pulls me closer to him. Sonic starts to back up but he looks over to see that he reached the edge. Then a ship flies over and it gets near us. It then hovers right in front of us as the windshield opens to reveal Dr. Robotnik. "Welcome to San Fransisco Mr. Wachoski. Enjoying the clam chowder?" He asks. "Well if it isn't the government wack job that's trying to kill us UNSUCCESSFULLY! Nice if you to see swing by ComicCon!" Dad yells out.

"Yeah? And what exactly are you wearing?" Mom asks. "It's a flight suit. Designed to modulate my body temperature and reduce drastic." Dr Robotnik spoke as he gritted his teeth. "Yeah and you still are one." Dad added. "Ohohohoho good one! You are catching fire Thomas! And speaking of hate I've seen you've taken a lover. Does she have her name or do we need to call her collateral damage!" Dr Robotnik says as laughs. "Hey you better watch you mouth before you get what I gave you earlier!" Dad yells as leans over to mom. "I punched him in the face." He tells her. "Oh you punched him right in the face it was awesome!" Sonic exclaimed. "The time for talking is over! It's time to push buttons!" Dr Robotniks says.

"You're flying eggs are pretty impressive Mr Eggman! But let's face it you'll never catch me!" Sonic exclaims. "Confidence! A foul substitute for intelligence." Dr Robotnik spat out. The robots then take out their guns and point at us. I get closer to dad as he grabs me by my shoulders. "Uh Sonic I know you have the supper speed and all but Maddie,
(Y/n),and I." Dad points out. "Totally defenseless? Probably gonna get blown up?" Sonic asks. "Pretty much yeah." Mom replies. "Don't worry I know just what to do." Sonic says. All of a sudden I get pushed off the roof along with dad and mom. I begin to scream as I fall down deeper. But then I land on hay? I look around and see I'm in a barn. Then one of dad's friend sees us.

"Hey! Tom you're here! I could really use your help! Ol' Bessie is about to give birth!" He exclaimed. I then start to get out of the hay and I look around. I then start walking out of the barn and I realized I'm not in San Fransisco. "Am I in Green hills?" I ask out loud. "Looks like it." Mom replied. "Oh No! Sonic! We need to help him! But he's in San Fransisco! Mom! W-What do we do?!" I freak out. "Woah hey honey! It's ok he'll be ok I know." She said as she knelt down to get to my level. "I-I just want him to be safe. I don't know w-what I'll do without him...." I stutter as I trail off looking at my feet sadly. "Sweetie he'll be ok. He has powers to protect himself. I'm sure he'll be fine." Mom said as she strokes my cheek. "Now come on. Let's go with your dad." She said as she stands up and walks over to dad. 'I hope sonic is ok' I say in my head.

Sonic's P.O.V
That is impossible! No one has ever caught up to me before! I'm supposedly the fastest thing alive! I then take out a ring to escape Eggman. I throw it in front of me and it opens. I then see some people in my way. "Coming through!" I say out loud as I warn them. But Eggman still catches up to me. I take out another ring and I throw it. I continue to run trying to outrun Eggman. "Here we go!" I exclaim out loud. "I can't loose him!" I yell out. I then throw another ring as I run in it.

Eggman is still behind me trying to shoot me. I then stop abruptly making him go far off thinking I kept on running. I then looked down to see the dust flying around and it gave me an idea. "If you can't loose them, blind them!" I exclaim. I then ran to where eggman was and I ran around his ship and I create a dust tornado around him. He then looses sight and I run up in one of the pyramids. I continue to run up and I throw a ring that leads to Green hills. But then I get shoved into the ring and I fall down onto the road. I then hit my head harshly and I black out."

(Y/n)'s P.O.V
I hear an explosion coming from downtown. I look up and look where the sound came from. I then begin to follow where the explosion was heard. "(Y/N)!" I heard dad and mom call out. But I ignore them. I know this has something to do with Sonic. Because it's not normal in Green hills for an explosion to go off. I just hope nothing bad happened to him.

I continue to run until I reach downtown. I gasp in terror as I see Sonic's limp body on the road. "Sonic!" I yell out. I began to run to him but I get pulled back. I look over and I see dad. "(Y/n)! What are you doing?!" He exclaims.
"D-Dad let go!" I say but then I look over and I see Dr Robotniks ship come out from the ring. 'Oh no' I say in my head. I then stay put frozen in place.
