Blast into the past

Andrea was sleeping when the phone rang "KAL, please take the call" she said to her AI.

KAL took the call, "The call is from the force, ma'am." the AI informed her.

She checked the bedside clock, it was seven in the morning.

What happened that they need to call me so early in the morning.

"Ok, I will take the call pass it on my handset will you KAL, thanks," she said as the call connected to her handset.

She turned on the hologram projection of her handset and a miniature hologram of captain Kyle popped up.

"Sorry to disturb you so early chief, but it was an emergency"

"What happened kyle"

"There was a breakout in Alcatraz last night"

"You don't have to worry, there have been many tries to break out from there but it is impossible, that is the most secured prison in the entire world"

"But, chief that's the point in the breakout Bulls-Eye was able to escape from the prison"

"You mean Alvin, this is bad, we will have to find him before he starts his killing spree, was anyone injured?"

"Actually we found a dead body and there is one more thing chief."

This was getting all wrong she thought tiredly the day has kicked with a good start, she sighed.

"First tell me who was dead?"

"The body was burnt from the Bulls-Eye fire pelt, it is difficult to identify the body"

"Ok, you wanted to tell me something else too, what is it?"

"Chief a disc box was found missing, a silver case to be precise"

Will this get any worse she thought, it did.

"Ok tell all units to be alert and to search for him"

"Umm... Chief there is only a slight problem he took a surfer"

"You mean, that he has surfed himself to the past" she said disbelievingly.

"Yes Chief."

"Well is there anything more that you have to say"

"Oh, one more thing chief, it was found that the shade has also escaped"

At the name of shade Andrea shot up straight, she couldn't help it.

"Is there any news about his whereabouts" her voice changed now.

"No chief but we are trying"

"Ok, thanks" saying this she ended the call and the hologram whisked away.

Now she hurried up and started dressing to go to the meeting, as the situation would certainly demand one. But, there was only one thing that was roaming in her mind 'SHADE'.
