Jade nodded took the letter and started sprinting down the mountain, in no time she had reached down.
There was no post office nearby, the post office would at least 17 miles away at the village.
So she started walking, angry with the Master for giving her the punishment. She was red with anger at the Master.

One thing that crossed her mind over and over again was, why was the Master obsessed with her learning to attack.
It took her five hours but, she reached the village. Going to the post office she gave the letter and came out.

She was tired from the long walk so she went to the nearby stall for a glass of water, after that she started her return journey.
By the time she was halfway through the road, her temper started to cool down a bit and she realized her fault.
She started feeling guilty for lying to the Master and not taking his words seriously. She started thinking about how the master had attacked her and she was unable to defend it, the attack had hurt alot. The master only wanted to help me so that I can attack the enemy and not only defend myself she thought.
She reached the mountain late and was tired from the long walk.
Let me use the secret passage she thought walking to the corner where there was a dense overgrowth.
Behind it was a cave, this cave was discovered by her when she was young and used to roam around the mountain.

When she had told about the cave to Master Hïuè, he too had liked it. She entered the passage and started walking, thinking about the past.
When they had first found the passage, Jade was young and so to make it interesting they used to pretend that this was a secret passage, nobody else knew about this place.
They also had a board erected on the other side, which was their letter board, where they used to leave letters for each other so that only they got the letter.
Deep in thoughts, Jade took a turn and stopped short, for there was a girl standing in front of the entrance. The girl had her back towards her, she was examining their secret message board. Jade thought of hiding and started moving behind the rocks when a voice came.
"Who are you?" the girl had spoken the words while turning around.
Now that Jade could see the girl's face, she saw that the girl had a cute face. Jade didn't answer the question and kept quiet.
"Is your name Jade, little girl"
Jade was shocked to hear her name spoken by the unknown girl, she didn't know what to say so she just nodded her head.
"Jade, there was a letter here that was addressed to you," she said pointing to the board "Here you go," Jade noticed the letter in her hand for the first time, the girl held up her arm with the letter towards her.
Jade took the letter and opened it.

The letter was not signed but Jade didn't need it, she knew that this was Master Hïuè's handwriting.
She read the letter again and again but was still confused. So looking up she did the only logical thing.
"Who are you?" she asked the girl.
"I am the chief of the corps" the unknown girl answered "My name is Andrea"
