Death?

Sent by Lucy, Happy was traveling at max speed to the guild to fetch Wendy, Gray and Erza. After everything that happened the small exceeds was beyond confused questions surfaced like a never-ending maze. Finally arriving at the guild the exceed caught his breathe flying slowly over to Gray.

"Gray! Natsu and Lucy! Something happened You, Erza and Wendy need to come now!" Happy tugged on his shirt tears falling out of his eyes. Was Natsu still alive? The exceed thought which only made more tears come out of his eyes.

"Wait what happened Happy?" Erza asked staring sternly at the cat.

"I'll explain later p-please we have to go help them!"

On the train it was dead silent. Only the sounds of Happy sobbing were heard.

"So are you gonna explain to us why we're all going to Lesli?" Gray asked, fiddling with his shirt.

Happy sighed and began "Well we were all going on a normal mission to stop this Evil Monster that was destroying Lesli. The monster could take a human form too which made it even harder to find him! But when we did find him he tried to steal Lucy's Bracelet but-"

Happy was cut off by Erza "The one she just got from that new shop?"

"Aye! well let me continue on when we found the Monster he was in his monster form. Natsu defeated him so he retook his human form only to find out he was more powerful in his human form.. Thats when he tried to shoot Lu-shee with this beam of light but Natsu saved her b-but..." Happy tried to contain his sobs then continued "Natsu stopped breathing" Everyone gasped sorrow filling there eyes and faces Happy wiped some tears off his cheeks trying to be brave for his friends but it didn't help the continuous flow of tears curving around his face. "L-lu-shee got really mad and a purple light came from her and shot the man- or monster knocking him unconscious." Everyone was furious, angry, and most of all sad. Grief radiated off of all of them giving the train a very dark feeling.

"How did one beam of light k-kill Natsu he got hit with multiple ones many times and still stood it doesn't make any sense!" Erza shouted, punching the pole beside her in the aisle.

"Natsu please wake up. You gotta get up!" Lucy shouted nearby tree's being engulfed in purple light then would tear apart branch by branch. Root by root. Dark clouds we're rolling in making the night seem gloomier than usual. The only light was the purple aura surrounding Lucy's body. Lucy lie on top of Natsu tears forming golden lit puddles on his bare stomach.

"L-lucy?" Natsu murmured weakly staring down the blonde. Lucy looked up relief washing over her face she grabbed Natsu pulling him into a hugging position crying into his shoulder "Lucy, why are you crying? What's wrong?" Natsu asked rubbing her back while clutching her hair gently. Lucy couldn't speak she was beyond happy Natsu didn't die her sobs making her shake uncontrollably. "Hey Luce it's okay just tell me whats wrong." Natsu whispered softly. Lucy released from his grip and let her fingers journey along the curve of his face. He is here, He is okay Lucy thought to herself she started chuckling a little and wiped the tears off her face. "You idiot never scare me like that!" Natsu looked perplexed by what she said. He was just knocked out for a little bit right? Lucy, noticing the confused look on Natsu's face decided to explain.

*5 minutes of explaining later which didn't at all help Natsu because more questions come*

"Wait so I DIED?!" Natsu shouted poking himself to make sure he wasn't shimmering away.

Lucy chuckled "Well not necessarily I think it might've been a spell"

"What kind of spell?"

"A temporary death spell, Dark Magic" Lucy replied her breathe shuttering "It knocks the person unconscious but since it's dark magic and it hasn't been fully approved it has some glitches. I'm guessing the glitch in this spell was giving you symptoms of being dead when you really weren't."

Natsu shook his head still trying to process all this information "Wait so why wasn't I shimmering? Usually when people die they start to fade why didn't the potion give me that death trait? And if I wasn't shimmering and fading away why did you think I was dead?"

"Well.." Lucy looked down sniffing Natsu put a reassuring hand on her and gave one of his famous childish-grins. Lucy smiled and continued "I didn't really think of the details at that moment I was too upset that you supposedly died. But I also thought that I could save you by crying"

Natsu's eyes widened in surprise "What kind of resurrection is that!? Crying?!"

"Hold on Natsu let me explain to you.. When I cried my tears seemed to heal you it confused me as well but I think all of this including the purple beam that knocked out the monster had something to do with my bracelet." She held it up it didn't have the purple aura anymore because Lucy's emotions we're in check so it looked like just a plain bracelet. Lucy continued "The man/monster was after the bracelet for some reason that I couldn't explain at that moment but now I know. It gives a tremendous amount of magical power to the holder." Lucy sighed "But I don't want to be the holder of it knowing it will get my friends in danger" Lucy fidgeted with the bracelet sliding it up her hand and placed it on the ground, but it caused a reaction. Suddenly Lucy felt faint and weak like she couldn't hold herself up. Shades of white dancing around her trapping her inside darkness. Natsu attempted to shake her awake not knowing what to do. He then heard the voices of his friends and saw there shadows running to him.
