"Lucy!!" Natsu yelled running toward the blonde mage his blue companion by his side. Natsu tripped over his own feet and knocked Happy over in the process making them roll straight into a wall next to Lucy. Getting up and rubbing his head Natsu walked over to Lucy who was cradling a small child.

"Luce?" Lucy looked up tears running down her face she looked away too see it was Natsu. She lifted herself off the ground carrying the tiny girl on her back. "Luce what happened why are you crying who's the gi-" He cut himself off looking at the dead women on the ground. His eyes were as large as saucers. Lucy noticed Happy and him staring at the body. "It was my fault.." Lucy whispered not understanding Natsu tried to cut in and ask questions but was quickly cut off by Lucy handing Natsu Bre. Bre had a surprised look on her face.

"It's okay Bre.. Natsu's gonna take care of you for awhile till I get back" She put on a fake smile and continued "I'll be back soon you just be good okay? Natsu has a Cat his name is Happy he will keep you company also.." Natsu had millions of questions in his head.

"Lucy what happened? Where are you going?!" Natsu exclaimed, Lucy turned around she could feel the magic energy and rush of memories come to her she knew she had to leave and release these emotions where she couldn't hurt anyone. "I'll tell you later Natsu I gotta go.." Happy tugged her arm "Lu-shee are you okay?"

"I'm fine" And with that Lucy ran off to an isolated place to collect her emotions and try to figure out what to do.

Natsu, Bre and Happy arrived at the guild. Bre was still crying soaking Natsu's vest and shoulder. Happy awkwardly tried to comfort her by petting her hair. Natsu opened the guilds doors shouting "Were back!" everyone greeted him then saw the tiny brunette on his back. Erza was the first to question.

"Who is this and what was that big explosion? Where's Lucy?"

Natsu rubbed the back of his neck but still had his other hand propping Bre steadily on his back. "Well uh.. This is Bre! I have no idea what that big explosion was and Lucy she uh.. Kinda ran away I guess."

"WHAT?!" Gray, Erza, Levy, Gajeel, Wendy, and Carla said in Unison

"I can explain.." Bre said her voice still shaky from excessive crying. Natsu helped her down and she began explaining.

"So Lucy saved you but your mom got k-kiled in the process?" Wendy exclaimed her hands over her mouth.

Bre's breath hitched "Yes.." Her green eyes filling with tears again. Natsu wrapped his arm around her small waist attempting to comfort her. "Lucy said that I could stay with her"

"Did she say anything before Natsu and Happy came?" Gray asked

"She said something about her friends from Fairy tail are coming and they will keep me safe. She also said something about her power overwhelming her so she had to go soon." Bre looked at everyone surrounding her "She promised me that you guys would be my new family is she lying?"
Everyone looked at each other Erza decided to answer.

"She wasn't lying now how about we get you some hot chocolate and we can introduce you to everyone." Bre smiled childishly accepting Erzas offer. Leaping off Natsu's lap she followed the red mage to the bar counter.

"You should go look for Lucy." Gray whispered to Natsu. Natsu nodded "Happy!"

"Aye!" Happy picked up Natsu flying out of the guild toward the city.

"Make it stop!" Lucy yelled all her bad memories came flooding to her head. She was on a hill on the outskirts of Magnolia. Random tree's being struck down by lightning. A memories of Lucy not being able to help her friends came flooding to her head. Memories of her as a child at her mothers grave crying. "You are the reason for Bre's mothers death" A voice in her head said Lucy fell to the ground clutching her hands to her head. "You killed her mother!" The voice said a vision of Bre came in her mind of her crying holding her dead mothers hand "You made her an orphan!" The voice said wind picked up speed circling around Lucy. "I didn't mean to make her a target! I-I didn't mean to!" Lucy yelled tears spilling out of her eyes. She clenched them shut more visions of, her father, her mother, Bre's mother then thick red blood pouring out of all of them. "Why is this happening?" She yelled the voice in her head came back but it sounded more pure and calming "Darling Lucy it will all be alright."

"M-mom?" Lucy whispered

"Whatever happens don't ever take the bracelet off." Layla whispered her voice fading at the end then in to complete nothingness.

"Lucy!!" Natsu yelled over the wind running over to her. He put his hand on Lucy's back the wind and lightning died down. "Natsu?" Lucy sobbed into her hands, Natsu rubbed her back making her calm down a little. "Oi Luce, Her death isn't your fault it was a freak accident and whoever killed her is gonna pay!" He said putting his fist into the palm of his other hand. "C'mon Bre's waiting for you at the guild!" Natsu exclaimed standing up offering his hand to Lucy. Lucy accepted it and wiped her tears "How's she doing?"

"She's doing fine! Erza and Gray took a liking to her already!" Natsu gave his signature grin which made Lucy blush she rubbed her finger against his smooth hand. "Well lets go!" Happy yelled

"Lucy!" Bre exclaimed jumping out of the chair she was in running to Lucy wrapping her arms around her waist. Lucy smiled "Hey Bre it's been a hectic day why don't we go to my Apartment"

Bre nodded "Oh wait!" She ran over to Gray and Erza giving them hugs then running out the door with Lucy.

"Ice Princess does have a soft side!" Natsu shouted. Gray turned pink

"Do you want to get into a fight Fire Hazard?"

"Actually I do!" Natsu yelled running with his fist in front of him Gray doing the same. Everyone sweat-dropped at the two rolling around on the ground throwing punches at each other.

"So Bre tell me about yourself" Lucy said brushing out Bre's long brown hair.

"Well I'm eight years old.. Uhm I love clothes and.. I'm a Celestial Wizard.." Lucy gasped at what she just said. A Celestial Wizard?

"Seriously?"

"Yeah when you first met me.. I was chasing one of my spirits around! His name is Elijah! Watch this"

Her tiny fingers interlaced with a key that had Orange and Black stripes that surrounded a paw.

"I summon Gate of the Tiger: Elijah!" A boy about the same age as Bre stood before Lucy.

"Hey Bre whose this?" He asked pointing at Lucy. Bre took his hand in hers "This is Lucy! She's a celestial mage too!" He smiled "Nice to meet you miss!" Lucy chuckled "Nice to meet you too!"

Bre cut in "Elijah isn't a fighting spirit he's more like a pet!"

"Hey I'm not a pet" Elijah huffed crossing his arms "Well it was nice meeting you Lucy but I gotta go or I might drain little miss meanie pants power bye!" and with that he shimmered away.

Lucy chuckled and sighed. She was growing attached to Bre like she was her little sister the rest of the night Lucy showed Bre all her spirits, they talked about Natsu and Elijah, And finally fell asleep. It seemed like everything was going perfect like nothing bad was ever going to happen again. They were VERY wrong.
