JESSICA'S POV

"Shawn I-I-I" I stuttered.

I was lost for a bit.

"Shawn I love you to.... and I know you love me, but I'm just not ready. I'm too young Shawn, I'm sorry.." I said looking down at my feet.

He said nothing, he just gave me a hug.

"Jess I'm kidding, it's a promise ring.. We are only 18" he said handing me the ring

"Shawn I can't take this" I said relived.

"Jess. I told you I love you and I will love you till the day I die. I promise." he said taking my hand.

"It's beautiful" I said giving him a hug.

"Jess, there's something else I gotta show you" he said

"Oh god" I giggled.

"Okay let's go" he said

"Where?" I asked

"I gotta drive, sorry" he said "Why are you so apologetic!" I asked

"I'm sorry" he laughed

"I love you" I hugged him as we walked to the car.

"Okay put this blindfold on" he said

I put the blindfold on and got in to the car slowly.

The drive to the place was loud, singing every single high school musical song know to man.

Eventually I felt the car come to a stop.

"Okay take my hand" he said helping me out of the car.

I held his hand still and we walked up 3 steps and through a door.

"Okay ready?" He said
"Yup" I said

He kissed me. "Shawn" I trailed off. "Okay take off the blindfold." He said

I took it off and he was gone. I was in a completely empty house.
No Shawn in sight..

I walked around to the stairs and found a sign.

Come upstairs❤️

It said. I walked up the stairs filled with beautiful rose petals.

Little weirded out to be honest.

At the top of the stairs was a picture of me and Shawn on our first date, in a picture frame on the wall. But nothing else.

I continued to follow the rose pedals.

It led to a room. But the door was shut.

It said,

Open me:)

This is actually kinda sketchy I'm not gonna lie. I feel like I'm gonna get murdered.

I think to myself, but then again, who knows what is actually behind that door.

I slowly open it to find yet another room. This room actually had bedroom furniture.

The TV was on and the converter it's said,

"Press play"

I pressed play. Then it was just a video of Shawn.

"I wanted to ask you a couple questions, but I needed some help.." It's said

Then his mom popped up in the corner, "SAY YES!" She said
Then his sister, "say YAASSS Jess!"

Then his dad, "say yes!"

And like 50 more people did including my sister. Now that part made me cry.
At this point I wanted her back.

Then all of the sudden, one by one each member of his family and everyone in the video came in to the room handing me roses.

Then finally Aaliyah turned on the speakers. It was playing a song, I had heard it before but I don't remember where.

Then the crowd of people began to spread and Shawn walked in with a bouquet of red roses.

I could feel tears threatening to spew out of my eyes. We never, not once unlocked eyes.

This is the song that Shawn and I danced to in the car on our first date. It actually brings back really cute memories.

"So I have a couple questions for you" he said

I nodded in excitement.

"Turn around" he said with a smile locking eyes.

I turned around and a big poster was being held up by his friend Ian. It said in big black sparkly letters, "PROM?"

I turned back and hugged shawn. He spun me around. He kissed me on the cheek and placed me back on my feet.

"Soo is that a--" he said

"YES!" I yelled

Everyone started clapping and cheering. He gave me a kiss.

"Okay next question" he said

His dad handed him something.

He turned back around.
