Chapter 2: The book

In the castle of storm of the grand duke called the Archangel, I; Astoria Archangel, am very happy. Not only I born in a very prestigious and powerful family. I am blessed with beautiful silver hair and eyes, just like my father! Every time I see myself, I can't help but think. I look like a piece of art. Very fine art. No wonder why the maids could never hates me even with how much I have hurt them. After two years of watching, I didn't get much information. Most of the time I was alone with my nurse and maids. She also has this nervous feelings around her. My father, he is probably a busy man, I see him walk into my room for a step and got called by someone fairly often. He looks like a good man.

"Dada!" I called for my father and raised both of my hands, signaling him that I want him to hold me up.

Speaking of the book of prediction;'Book of knowledge'. It doesn't have much information on the Archangel, I remember a line said. 'Archangel and Leander are the two grand duke in the Kingdom of Spade.'.

It was mainly about a heroin; Lucy, like the other heroin, she was blessed with the power of light. She was abducted by the pirates. She was found by a viscount and because of her power, he adopt her and gave her education. She enters the academy, made friends and meet a lot of hot boys. Most importantly, she's a walking trouble. Everywhere she go, she'll face hardship and fight along side the boy. Despite being a walking trouble, I really really like her personality. She can fight, the woman is strong. She doesn't need to be protected by men. Though she use her power recklessly, because light is rare and valuable. Not to mention magic is quite rare too, Only thirty percentage of people in the kingdom has magic. A lot of people use magic stone to perform magic, yet the cost isn't affordable to everyone. If that viscount who found her was a bad guy and try to squeeze light magic out of her into magic stone, It would be a tragedy. The romantic moments are also good, though I don't really like when the crown prince is with her when he already engaged with Lady Caroline Charlotte of the marquis family Charlotte. Even if he doesn't like her, he should have respect her position a bit more. Lady Caroline is one of the villain of the story.

All the villains of the stories did not end well. I am happy that I did not born into a villainess. Although, I remember that in the story, my family support lady Caroline. But her down fall does not affect anything to our family. Why didn't Astoria got engaged with the crown prince? The book also have the answer. It is said that Astoria is too sick to be wed to anyone. Lucky me.

"Little devil, dada have to go to work now" He hold me up in front of him and look at with longing eyes.

"No little devil, it's Astoria, As-to-ria." the demon is gone now, why he call me that. hmmp.

He chuckle a bit." Little Astoria, dada will go to work now. Be good, okay? And called for the nurse, Sebastian." He cooed to me then talk to the butler.

"Okkie dada." I kissed him on the cheek in cheer him up. Good dada will get reward for being good dada.

After that, I saw the butler trying to drag him out of the room. Crazy dada.

I look around myself and saw maids looking at me with cautious yet sparkling eyes. How confusing.

"Food time!" I said because I'm starting to get hungry.

They hurriedly bring me food. The nurse trying to feed me. what. NO. Even if I'm two years old now but I'm still twenty at heart. Sure I acted cute in front of my father but I still have some dignity.

"Wendy, I'll feed myself" I whine at her and grab the spoon from her hand. Wendy; my nurse, she looks cautious when I hold stuff, probably thinking I'll throw it at her. So I feed myself neatly. She gets more relax after I ate five more spoon. My arms and wrists are quite strong for a noble child. I guess it's the fruit of throwing stuff.

When I finished eating I get sleepy. But sleep after eating is bad so I won't sleep.

Wendy's pov

I'm Wendy and I was selected to be Lady Astoria Archangel's nurse because I have the most healthy breast milk. All my milk belongs to the lady, I cannot give my own son milk. In return, the duke promise to support my family finances and my son future. The first time I saw her, she was like an angel. And that same day, I promised to protect her even with the cost of my own life.

The time pass by and the more I do not understand. I tried my best to give her love and discipline that a mother would, yet all I got back was cuts and wounds. I was about to give up but then one day I unintentionally heard a conversation the grand duke held with an old lady

"The demon needs to be taken care of, your grace, I will try my best."

"You can try anything, just don't hurt her"

..DeMoN?! What demon? Are they talking about our two years old lady? Oh no, I'm scared for her...

I don't what they were doing but after that we were called by the duke to take care of her. When I look at her, SHE IS AS CUTE AS EVER! And she finally speak, her voice as beautiful as a chirping bird. She should talk more even blabber and I would listen to her all day, she usually scream. There are definitely changes. The one who hurt me wasn't her, it was the demon! Look at her sleeping face, she could never hurt a fly!
