Chapter Five

Bowser POV

I laid in my bed, completely in heaven. I was relaxing, for the first time in months. Hell, Demento's been dead for a while but even I still wake up having nightmares. 'Tippi...' I thought bitterly. 'Your dead...along with Count Bleck...but...are-' "Lord Bowser!" Kamek ran into the room with a paper. I sighed, then growled. "What is it now? Can't I have at least a bit of relaxation without-" Kamek shoved the paper in my face. "Its-its a telegram..." I growled again, completely irritated. Snatching the paper from her, I sighed. "From who?" I said annoyed, but perked up when she answered, "Princess Peach." My eyes shot open and I began reading the message. God its been so long. After what happened with Count Bleck and the ripoff jester, I decided to just give up kidnapping the princess. Hell, if Mario would nearly get himself killed for her, then who in their right state of mind will be dumb enough to keep doing what I did over the years? Don't get me wrong, I still hate that son of a bitch plumber, but have somehow gained some respect for the guy. I read the paper out loud.

"Bowser,

Its me, Princess Peach. I never thought in a million years I'd be asking you for help, but this is important. Luigi is showing severe signs of being once again possessed by Mr.L, and has began to go completely crazy! He has ran into the Deadend Forest by the castle and we aren't able to locate his whereabouts. Please, Bowser, we need your help. If not, Mr.L will completely corrupt Luigi and we'll all be in danger.

I stood up slowly, completely in a daze. Mr.L? Coming back? Hell no, this cant be happening. I looked at Kamek. "You're in charge." She stared at me with a dumbfounded expression. "B..but...I.." she stuttered. "No buts. I don't know how long I'll be gone, so you're in charge, got that?" I turned to look at her. "O...ok Lord Bowser...your wish is my command." I looked at her and for some reason my glare softened. She's been working for me for years and its always been the same. I sighed and cupped her face in one of my hands. "Kamek...I don't even know if I'll come back alive. I need you to be strong just in case I come back in a box with a cross, got that?" Her pupil's doubled in size "W..what makes you say that?" I looked at the ground. "We're not dealing with anything normal here," I couldn't control my voice. It was shaking, like I was scared. And, honestly, I was. Who the hell wouldn't? "We're dealing with a demon from out of this world. So promise me you'll take charge." She sighed and pushed her cheek deeper into my hand, making my face turn red. "Ok...but promise me something..." My eyebrow raised up in confusion. "Whatever..." She suddenly hugged me, and gave me a quick kiss on the cheek. "Come back alive..." Her breath was warm on my ear and that made my face turn redder than blood. "Hmph...fine." I grunted, trying to keep up my 'tough guy' act, but hugged back. I pulled away and looked at her again. "Kamek, there's one thing I forgot." She looked at me confused. "What?" I gently (surprisingly!) once again cupped her face in both my hands."This..." I slowly leaned in and cautiously planted a soft kiss on her lips. At first, she was surprised, but then kissed back. We pulled apart, both our faces burning. "I'll try to come back...but I can't promise..ok?" Kamek looked at me like she was gonna cry. "Ok..." I grinned and kissed her forehead. "See ya.."  Leaving her there, I began making my way to the castle. "Goddamnit, Luigi." I growled. "Why the hell are you doing this?"

Mario POV

"And what the hell is VanHellsBreath doing here?!" I was completely agitated. First, Luigi runs off into the forest and now we can't find him, then I completely embarrassed myself in front of the Princess by kissing her, and now this over grown ripoff of the fucking Ninja Turtles is standing in the meeting room, a smug smile on his flat ass face that I would love to burn off! The Princess looked at me like she knew what I was thinking. "Don't even think about it, Mario. He's here to help." I scoffed and rolled my eyes. "Help do what, make holes in the dirt with his big ass feet so we can plant new trees? Yeah, I understand." She swatted the back of my head. "Mario! Shut up and listen. Bowser is in trouble to, ok?" I looked at her. Her blue eyes were sparkling with worry and anger. I sighed. "Oh, alright, damn it..." I crossed my arms over my chest. "I'll listen." She sighed. "Ok." Mutant Fat Ass Old Man Turtle, er..I mean Bowser, sighed also. "Ok, I'm here. Now what do you need me for?" The Princess stood. "You have one of the largest armies I know about in the Mushroom Kingdom ." She began. "And I would like to mix them with my guards and spread them all throughout the Mushroom Kingdom." Both mines and dragon breath jaws dropped to the floor. "Are you serious?!" I jumped out of my chair.  "That's insane!" She glared at me, making me back away. The fire in her eyes burned with annoyance. "No, Mario, what's completely insane is that Luigi is out there doing god knows what and hurting God knows how many people!!" Bowser jumped in, deciding that an angry princess wasn't appropriate right about now. "Ok ok. Just calm down. I'll call Kamek and tell her to send over some of my best guards." I grinned  evilly when I noticed his face turn red at the sound of her name. "Bowserrr...." I sang. Him and Peach looked at me weird. "What do you want, shorty." Bowser grunted. Peach was just sitting there confused. I walked over to him and elbowed his ribs softly. "So...that Kamek girl...do ya like her?" Thats all it took to get Bowser's face to burn like his breath. "Mind your business, plumber, before I rearrange your pipes." He hissed. I laughed. "Yeaaa, you do!" Bowser rolled his eyes. "Hello?" He said into the receiver. "Kamek? Its me...yes, I'm fine...no we haven't started looking for Luigi yet...yes..ok I need you to send over the best guards..yes...but keep two for your protection.." Me and Peach looked at each other and grinned. "Yes you do...your magic isn't gonna stop Luigi, and you know that...ok, fine. One guard. Ok...huh?" His face turned so red it was almost black. "I..I love you to...ok..yeah, bye." Bowser hung up and looked at me and Peach, and we were giving him the troll face. "What?" Peach sighed, holding in laughter. "We'll make sure you get back to her alive, ok?" She said softly. I fell on the floor cracking up. "Mario, don't make me hurt you." I dragged myself up onto the chair. "Ok..ok Princess...don't hurt me!" I was gasping for air. Then, all of a sudden, the door crashed open and a male toad ran in, covered in blood. He ran over to me and tackled me, slamming my head on the tile floor. "Your son of a bitch brother killed my dad!!" I looked at him and shoved him off me. "Give me proof!" Looking at me with sadness and anger, he took out a phone and shoved it in my face. "Here's your fucking proof!" He yelled. I looked at the picture he was showing me and gasped, my face turning pale. The Princess and Bowser must have noticed because they came over and looked at the picture also. "Holy shit..." Bowser whispered. Peach grabbed my arm, trying not to faint. The toad in the picture was dead, yeah. But...it was complete overkill. His eyes, both of them, laid on the floor along with what looked like his tongue. His spine was visible,  and coming out from his throat. His stomach was cut open and his intestines lay in a bloody mass next to him. He also had multiple stab wounds. "T..this can't have been Luigi..." I breathed hard. "Well it was him." The young toad hissed. "He was the only one with my father. We took him in after me and my sister found him unconscious in the woods..." He broke down. "Damn it! He's all me and my sister had left! Now what are we gonna do?!" The Princess took him out the room to calm him down. Me and Browser looked at each other. "We have to find Luigi..." I whispered. "Before he kills anyone else..."
