Chapter Nine

*2 months and 3 weeks later*

Peach POV

I woke up in the middle of the night, feeling a strange pressure in my abdomine. I sat up and it got worse. It hurted so much, I cried out. I breathed slowly, and threw the sheets off my body. Shifting, I froze when I relized the sheets were wet. "Oh god, no...n-not now.." I slowly shifted my legs off the bed and a sharp pain instantly shot through my abdomine and ribs. "Ahhhhh!!"

Mario POV

"Ahhhh!!" My eyes shot open and I fell out of bed. "Holy cow!!" Ignoring the pain in my back, I shot up and an to the princesses room. Why we're in separate rooms, I don't even know, but it's not important. I ran to her room and literally smashed the door open. "Peach, what's-" I turned in the light and saw her on the floor by the foot of the bed, breathing hard and straining. 'Oh hell no... God not now please!' I ran to her and knelt next to her, taking her hand. She instantly squeezed it. "Mario... Ah..it..it hur-AH!" She squeezed my hand harder and pushed. 'Crap crap crap crap!' I'm not able to think straight. She's still pushing and I can't, and ain't gonna, move. So I do the first thing that comes to my mind...

"BOWSER!!!"

Bowser POV

"God damn it..." I mumbled. I was texting Kamek, when all of a sudden Mario yells my name. I text Kamek  again. 

Hey ill brb, k? Somethings happening.... =|

I waited till she texted back, which wasnt long. I read the text and blushed. Damn she kills me! In a good way.

Ok, hun...dont get yurself killed. Idk what ill do w/o yu...♥ love yaa

I chuckled to myself and put the phone down. I asked her out two months ago and she said yes. I shook my head. Me, King Koopa, with a girlfriend. Who would have thought? But even I didn't have time to think because Mario yelled my name again. I rolled my eyes and walked out of the guest room ive been staying in. "Plumber, where are you?" I called out. The little bastard wasnt in his room. "In Peaches room!" I was walking away from his room when he said that and when he did, I froze. "Oh hell no..." I started to run, which is something I dont do. When I reached the princesses room, I cursed under my breath. Mario was whispering to Peach, who was breathing hard and pushing, and holding her hand. "How long has she been in labor?  And why is she on the floor?!" I walked over to her and put my hand under her chin, lifting her head slightly. "Peach, your doing good, ok?"  I said softly. She was crying, and she nodded. I gently wiped the tears from her face and looked at Mario. "Get her on the bed, and do whatever you can to calm her. I'll he right back."

*20 mins later*

Normal POV

"Ahhhh!" Peach was gripping Mario's hand in complete pain, screaming bloody murder. "Ghn..O-ok Peach, just b-breath..." Mario was biting his lip to keep from screaming. Who knew Peach had a grip like this?! She was gripping his hand so hard, his knuckles were rubbing together. "Mario...it..it hurts so bad!" She was crying, and Mario hated seeing her cry. He leaned down and I kissed her forehead. "Hey...baby, I know it hurts..just pay attention to my voice, OK?" He kept his lips near her forehead, and he felt her nod. "OK..." She leaned up. "Mario...?" Mario looked at his girlfriend and for a moment was lost for words. She was just so beautiful. Her eyes sparkled and the reflection of the light shone off them, making them shine even more. "Mario..." Her voice snapped him out of his trance. He looked at her again, smiling slightly.  "Yea..?" She looks at him and smiles weakly, breathing and pushing. "C-can..you sing to me..?" Mario's face turns red and he sudders. "S-sing? M-me? Mama Mia, Princess.." He looked at her once, and couldn't resist the look. She was giving him puppy dog eyes. That was his only weakness. "Oh, ok.." He though for a moment. "Ok! How about this one?" He cleared his throat, and began...

" what would I do without your smart mouth.."

He looked at the princess, who was breathing quietly, and continued.

"Drawing me in and you kicking me out..had my head spinning, no kidding, I can't bring you down. What's going on in that beautiful mind? I'm in your magical mystery ride..and I'm so dizzy, don't know what hit me, but I'll be alright."

At that moment, Bowser walked in with doctor. He looked at Mario and smirked. "Were you singing to her?" Mario's face turned red and he nodded. Bowser looked at Mario and snickered. "Well why the hell you stop? Keep going, it was calming her down." Mario nodded and took the Princesses hand again, as the doctor looked under the sheets, nodding. "The child is coming along nicely. Just keep pushing, ok Princess? Your doing good."

"My heads under water and I'm breathing fire...your crazy and I'm out of my mind...cuz all of me, loves all of you...."

"AHHHH!!" Peach screamed one last time before the baby slid into the doctors waiting, gloved hands. The child's cries echoed throughout the room. Peach closed her eyes in exhaustion. "This birth was quick..." The doctor stated. "This is the hybrid child, right?" He looked at Mario and Bowser. "Yea...so...boy or girl?" They both said. "A baby boy." He cleaned the crying baby and cut the cord, then wrapping the baby in a soft white blanket and blue hat. He walked to Mario. "Here you go." Mario studdered. He didn't know how to hold a newborn. "Hold his head. Make sure you have him secured." The doctor explained. Mario nodded and took the now sleeping child. As soon as he laid eyes on the sleeping child, he broke into tears. "Demons kid or not, he's my nephew. Right?" He looked at Bowser. "Yea..but we won't know if he has powers till he's about one or two months.." Mario smirked. "So..what should we name him..?"

"John.."

"Huh?" Mario, the doctor and Bowser looked at Peach, who was now sitting up. She still looked tired. Mario looked at the child again. "Your gonna name him John..?" The exhausted princess nodded and laid her head down, almost instantly falling asleep. "So John..." Mario said to the sleeping child. "Do you have powers or not??" Bowser looked at the sleeping baby and shook his hear in exhaustion. "He better not...or else we can all kiss our lifes goodbye.."
