Bettys POV

I was at cheryls for a small get together, inner circle only. (betty, jug, archie, veronica, cheryl, toni & kevin) we were all sitting in the living room when we heard a knock on the door. veronica got up to open it and a tall boy with brown curly hair came in and hugged V. "So this is the guy i was telling you all about. this is Nick St.Clair, hes an old friend from new york! i thought i would invite him because he doesn't really know anyone here but me."

(btw this is before the whole roofied thing with nick and cheryl)

We all said our hellos and got to know nick. he came and sat down next to me. "so are you guys all from riverdale?" he asked "well yes, all but veronica." archie said. we continued our conversation then jughead got up to go to the bathroom. after he left nick scooted closer to me on the couch. obviously everyone looked at me in shock. i clear my throat and ask nick "so, nick. how are you liking riverdale so far?" he looks at me and smirks then puts his hand on my thigh. "well its kinda a dump compared to NY, but the one thing i like is all the pretty girls." he says and chuckles. I nod my head and 'hm' uncomfortably. i go to stand up but nick pulls me back down. "where are you going baby?" he asks "nick-" veronica begins to say. all of a sudden this anger builds up inside of me and i slap him hard across the face, leaving a red mark. "oh my god..." i say in shock realizing what i just did. everyone starts mumbling and whispering. i then hear the stomping footsteps come downstairs. and we all turn our heads and see jughead standing in the doorframe angrily. "oh shit-" toni said. he walks toward nick and grabs him by the collar of his shirt. nick rolls his eyes "i swear to god if yo-" jughead begins to say but nick cut him off. "you know, 'jughead' you might be able to threaten other people. but im not scared of you." nick said then spat in his face. we all gasp. now that made jughead really mad. he wipes the spit off his face and pushed nick against the couch then he punched him. "oh my god jug-" i say getting up. he goes to swing at him another time but i stop him.

"nick st.clair, get the HELL out of my house." cheryl shouts at him standing up. he gets up off the couch with a bloody nose and runs out the door. as soon as he leaves jughead immediately turns to me and hugs me tightly. he whispers on my ear. "did he hurt you?" i hold him tighter and whisper back "no.. but he grabbed my thigh..." i start to tear up a bit. we walked into the kitchen together as he still held me in my arms. veronica went to get up to talk to me but archie stopped her. "just, let them be for a minute." he said.

jug sat my up on the counter and stood between my legs hugging me softly. i cried into his shoulder making his shirt wet. "you okay betts?" he asked me rubbing my back. i didnt answer i just let out a small whine. "betty?" he said holding my face. "can we go home?" i ask. "of course we can" he smiled at me then pecked my lips. jughead wrapped me up in his leather serpent jacket and i went to wait outside. "were gonna go home.." i heard him say then grabbing his keys. "give betty a hug for me." kevin says "me too." they all repeat after him. "mhm" jughead says then coming outside shutting the door behind him. he hugs me from behind and says into my neck "they all give you a hug." i smile thinking how much they all care about me. we get on his bike and head back home.
